Hotel was definetely not meeting expected standards of cleanliness. There were dirty foot prints on the cushions. Floor and under the bed was dusty.

Sept. 2025. Our 6 night stay at the Elaya Hotel in Leipzig's city centre was great. Many sights (museums, churches, the Leipzig Zoo) and wonderful eateries were within walking distance. The hotel was clean, safe, and well appointed. I would definitely return to this establishment for a future stay.

The best experience! We book for a group of 24 persons. Great price value. In the middle of the city center. They offer free coffee 24/7. Very clean room and air conditioned specially for the current hot german weather!

The email reception was difficult as teh codes kept switching and I spent a lot of time figuring out if ll is two "L's" or two capital "I's" The glass in the bathroom could have been cleaner. But I am nit picking. The staff are wonderful and the place is clean and in the rear of the hotel quite quiet.

Just above a hostel

The hotel was more like a hostel than a hotel. No kettle or fridge in the room, no art on the walls, no hooks to hang the jacket on. There was a TV but only German channels or channels dubbed in to German language, so if you don,t understand that it is useless to have a TV. It was good situated in the town, the staff in the reception was friendly and there were free beverages in reception area. The bed were comfortable and the place was clean.

The hotel is in a wonderfully central location in the pedestrian zone close to everything but therefore a little tricky to find by car. It's modern and clean with a wonderful breakfast spread. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are on the small side but clean and comfortable.
