Peaceful Country Setting on a Working HorseFarm
2 bedroom 2 bath guest cottage on working horse farm. Perfect getaway for guests who prefer a peaceful retreat as well as convenience to West Knoxville shopping, dining and entertainment.
Located on a favorite road bike route. A short drive to beautiful Melton Hill Lake for boating, kayaking and swimming. Easy access to Smokey Mountains, Cumberland Mountains and Cherokee National Forest.
Whether coming to enjoy the outdoors in beautiful East TN or a weekend of college football, we welcome you to our farm.
We loved this little house. Very cute, quiet, unique location to stay in Lenoir City. House had everything we needed and we loved seeing the horses right in the backyard!
This was a weekend trip for a wedding in the area. The house is Rustic sits beside a horse ranch so you are able to see the horses. We were very busy so we werenât able to sit on the porch and watch the riders train. They have pretty much everything you need for a stay, the beds were comfortable. If we need something in the area again we will definitely check out the availability.
Stayed here for several days on business trip to Oakridge. Brought my wife who was able to work from the cabin due to their excellent internet (satellite). Also able to bring our dog.The house is very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen area is a little tight but we didn't actually use it for much other than preparing leftovers. The inside is far more spacious then it looks and very comfortable. I'd definately stay here again if travelling to the area. The cabin is very accessable to I-40 and I-75 so it is pretty easy to get to destinations. Lots of good restaurants a short drive away in the Farragut area of West Knoxville. Lots of rievr access parks a shot drive away as well. We went to a show at the Shed in Maryville and the drive there and back was a breeze. You can get to the mountains fairly easily that way going through Townsend which seemed less congested then going through Sevierville.Only complaint is no full sized coffee maker. My wife likes to pack her own coffee and we make a full pot in the mornings. There is a Kuerig and we had a reusable pod so it wasn't a big deal not likely an issue for most, but thought it was worth mentioning. There are also no fans in the bathrooms which can make it feel a little humid though when we were there the weather was very rainy which also likely contibuted. Might benefit froma dehumidifier.
The cottage was rustic but had everything we needed for our two-night trip for our daughterâs graduation. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and the setting was peaceful. The only meal I prepared was breakfast, but if we had stayed longer, I would have cooked or grilled a couple times for sure! Loved visiting with and watching the horses.
We have stayed here multiple times and every stay has been impeccable-the experience is great, relaxing, entertaining (see horses) and a great way to both start and end your day. Close to everywhere we needed to go. A hidden charm in west Knoxville.
The horses were pretty. Thatâs about all I can say. The accommodations were so bad that only my husband ended up staying the night. The other 4 of us ended up staying with family in an overcrowded environment. The house was mildewed smelling, with only light fixtures being lamps. The outlets were
The accommodations were outstanding. We had everything we needed and more, thanks so much for the special touches. Very cozy and comfortable just like a home! Location was perfect, minutes from the interstate! If we return, we will definitely request to stay there again. Our dog loved sitting on the back porch and watching the horses, even though they freaked him out a little bit.
My teen children and I absolutely loved our stay on the farm. The house was neat as a pin and so cozy and inviting. We had everything we needed and more and so enjoyed getting to visit with Jan and the horses and watch lessons. We will be back!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for an event in Knoxville. The location was perfect to explore both Knoxville and the surrounding area including Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The property was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We would stay here again!
Weâve been traveling to Knoxville regularly and are thrilled to have found this gem. Itâs a quiet and calm setting. Had great fun watching the horse riders. The cottage is well equipped for eating in, relaxing and making our stay very easy. Location is easy to get to and convenient to get to all parts of town. We look forward to being back very soon.
Cabin was very clean and comfortable! Great view of the training area where you can sit on the little porch and watch Jan do some training with riders and horses. Met Jan and she was very friendlyâŠwe had a 1.5yr old lab with us that never met horses. Jan said We were able to walk through the barn with the horses and bring our dog through! Height recommend this if you are looking for a place away from the busy life and looking to be in a quiet area.
This is a beautiful location. The only negative was at night you could hear the interstate, but it was not enough to keep us awake. The inside of the property is wonderful, immaculately clean, very well stocked and equipped. It feels very isolated, but is in fact, very convenient to western Knoxville and Farragut. Can't wait to return!
