Some guests find the drive beautiful and manageable, while others find it intimidating due to the steep grades, gravel surface, and mountain terrain.
- We recommend arriving in an SUV, truck, or 4WD vehicle
- Standard sedans may have difficulty reaching the property, especially on inclines
- During periods of rain, snow, or winter weather, road conditions can become more challenging and may be difficult for low-clearance vehicles. Would not recommend anything other than an SUV, truck, or 4WD vehicle.
- *Please do not book this property if you are uncomfortable with steep gravel roads. We do not provide refunds under these circumstances. Thanks so much for your cooperation. *

Wonderful stay at Nightingale Nest!Property is very secluded and quiet. Home is exceptionally well appointed- fully stocked kitchen, lots of games, and hot tub with great views. There are actually 4 bedrooms, not 3.It should be noted that the average sedan cannot make it to the house due to the steep gravel roads. An SUV, truck, or 4WD is required. The road could potentially be impassable in the winter or periods of heavy rain.
Kitchen was adequately equipped; plenty of dinnerware/silverware; pots/pans. Would have liked the refrigerator water/ice makers to be on. Grill worked great! Hot tub was great; worked perfectly. Bathrooms could use more soap/shampoo/conditioner (than the travel sizes provided). Beds were good if you like firm (half our party loved them; half thought too firm...perhaps add some mattress toppers). View was spectacular! Living space was great! All in all a great property!
