Three bedrooms have zip-and-link beds (king or twin). Please request your preferred setup at least 7 days before arrival; otherwise, it cannot be guaranteed.

Spacious dining room with seating for up to 20 guests, alongside a fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances to cook up a feast.

Bathrooms:
Three bathrooms serve the house, including en-suites with a deep soaking tub and marble-effect tiling, plus a ground-floor WC.

Parking:
Parking for up to four cars is included on site. Additional vehicles can be parked on the estate for £25 per car, per night. Free parking on-street parking is available on Whitesmith Lane.

Pets:
We welcome pets and can supply dog beds and bowls if requested in advance.

Notes:
• Our property can accommodate larger groups; however, any guests beyond 16 are charged at £30 per guest, per night. When booking, please ensure the number of guests on your reservation accurately reflects everyone attending the stay. Additional guests must be declared prior to arrival.
• Due to insurance restrictions, the log burners are not available for guest use. Guests must provide ID before check-in.


Location
Gildridge Country Estate is nested in Sussex countryside on a small private estate, surrounded by scenic landscapes, rolling hills, and walking trails. The charming village of Chiddingly is just 1.75 miles away, full of traditional English character and friendly hospitality.

Lewes, a historic town 8 miles away, offers cobbled streets, a medieval castle, and a great mix of shops, cafés, and restaurants. From Lewes station, trains run directly to London in just over an hour. The coastal towns of Eastbourne (12 miles) and Brighton (15 miles) are nearby too, with beaches, boutique shopping, and vibrant nightlife.

Brighton is especially known for its pier, the Royal Pavilion, unique shops in The Lanes, and its cultural scene. After a day out, return to the countryside to unwind in one of the many nearby cosy pubs.

Since the property is in the countryside, it’s best to have your own car. There’s plenty of parking available, and the main roads nearby make it easy to visit places like Brighton, Eastbourne, and the South Downs National Park.

If you don’t drive, taxis are available. Local companies like Lewes District Cars and Streamline Taxis in Brighton can help you get around. Brighton and Eastbourne also have Uber services. For longer trips, the train station in Lewes connects to London, Brighton, and Eastbourne.

For walkers and cyclists, there are lots of paths and trails to explore, offering great views of the Sussex countryside. This property is an excellent base whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway or an active adventure.

Booking Policy
- 50% of the total payment is charged at the time of reservation.
- The remaining 50% is charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the reservation may be canceled.

Cancellation Policy
- A 50% refund is available if the reservation is canceled more than 60 days before arrival.
- No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 60 days of arrival.
