Relaxing and comfortable place.

Just the two of us and enjoyed the view, the quiet (except the crazy roosters lol) the laid back feel of this location. Easy commute to any part of the island and the airport. Worked out great for us.

The roomʻs view was just like the photo. Well kept, responsive staff, from security who checked us in, to front desk and IT person. Central, between Lihue and Kapaa. Would stay again!

Full kitchen without a working refrigerator

We selected the property for a full kitchen and we were not notified that the regular refrigerator was broken. The food we placed in there were spoiled. It was then we realized why there was a second mini-refrigerator on the counter. Throughout our stay, we couldn't stock up the mini refrigerator because it was very small and ended up eating in restaurants. It was obvious that this is a known issue that was not managed correctly. When we reported the issue, we felt the staff didn't acknowledge our frustrations and inconveniences and just made sure we were checked out timely. The property was clean, had a great view and close to the beach.

No air conditioning

The space of this unit was nice. The property was nice and quiet . And near a beach. But i overlooked the fact that this whole property has no air conditioning. And the fan in the main room hardly moved. We had to leave and book a room at a hotel. So I paid a lot for a place we didn’t stay in.

Beautiful spot!

This condo is perfect! The view is spectacular and every morning you are greeted with a beautiful sunrise. The drive from the airport was nice and quick after a long flight and the condo itself had everything we needed and was well kept. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location to explore all parts of the island

Kaha Lani is a great place to stay to enjoy Kauai! All units face sunrise in the morning. Kitchen allowed us to make many of our meals. Public coin/card washers/dryers were convenient. Great to be able to trade out beach towels every day. Great to have 3 boogie boards, 2 beach chairs, and 2 pool noodles. If you plan to use the pullout couch make sure to ask them to leave bedding ahead of time. Took a couple days before we got what we needed. A little confusing related to payments due to the differences between VRBO and Castle management. Staff onsite were pleasant and accommodating. All in all, we'd come back!

Nice complex with ocean views

This was a nice unit with a great ocean view. The location was isolated so it was quiet except for the official bird of Kauai. :) Would for sure stay in this unit again.

Beautiful view!

Condo lovely with wonderful view. Only complaint is noise from condo below. Due to windows being open and walls thin you can hear when people come home late or sirens from street. Also this condo did not have any seasonings or cellophane/foil stocked so you have to buy everything. Only give you a scratch pad to clean off dishes and no sponge or dish clothe to wipe counter down. Location makes up for this however.

Really really nice!

It was easy and hassle-free. Beautiful grounds, spacious unit, very comfy king bed. Kids slept great on pull-out sofa bed. The interior was super clean and nice. The decorations were fresh and updated. Location was terrific and allowed a great mid-point to explore the north and south of the island and a five minute drive to all your essentials, from groceries to shopping to rentals. About a five minute walk in one direction to Lydgate beach perfect for kids and first time snorkelers with a fully encased sea wall and in the other direction an amazing custom play bridge/ground that was super safe. The spot for younger kids. I could go on
 the only knocks I can think of was that the beach supplies were a tad weak (not a complete snorkel set and a struggling beach umbrella, but we made it work) and no washer and dryer. The nice thing is that the facility provides fresh bath and beach towels daily if you go swap at the office. We hope to be able to stay in this same unit again in the future!

Wonderful value!

This condo had everything, and is very well kept. I booked it knowing it didn't have air conditioning, as reviews said with the winds blowing through and the fans, it is ok. Well, we did wish it had air conditioning for those moments during the day when you want a break from the heat. The stand alone fan was broken, and housekeeping very quickly brought up 2 fans. Evenings were cool and pleasant enough, and we did survive. Other than that, all else was good. The pool on the property was perfect for a quick dip, and the ocean view is amazing. We took the beach chairs down to the water to watch the sunrise. Beautiful. Kauai is a lovely, lovely island.

Nice Location...

Nice Location close to beach. Unit needs updating on Beach stuff. Its cheap at Costco so owner please Replace the 1979 beach chairs. Noisy in bedroom because its by maintenance building. Beautiful at night. Very relaxing at night.
