I left a day early and asked for a refund.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Do not rent rooms like that to anyone. I paid over $100 for one night of stinky misery.
Location: There is nothing to do nearby. I rushed to the train the very next day to get back to civilization. I would recommend Périgueux with a car to Lascaux.
The hotel is under construction. I could not even relax in my room after breakfast because of the noise. I asked for a refund and they said no. My carpet stunk, was stained and the sheets were also stained. The lightbulb on the bedside table was blown out and the bathroom was literally from the 1930s. Slum town with a nicer train station but overall all the shops are closed or for rent. There are two bars in town and the hotel itself is across the street from a very expensive English pub with holes on the floor for toilets. I will fight to get my money back for one night at that hotel when I return from France next week.
