Would definitely return to this hotel! - Staff were great, friendly and helpful - Beds were very comfy - rooms and hotel very clean - location was brilliant - Decent breakfast Only issues (which are not an issue really) - Rooms could have had better pillows - we bought some with us as we knew hotels sometimes don't provide enough - Beware of a security deposit (I missed this in the terms and conditions so was my fault) - Photos of rooms on Expedia were not accurate to the room we had but room was lovely anyway!

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. Except for my final day, I took my breakfast up to my room without getting looks of disapproval. Jade is a real Gem. Keep up the fantastic service.

Great service - unusual room - yummy breakfast!

As a family of 4 with older children (19 & 17), we were ‘upgraded’ to a room in The Caves (8 beds!). However, apart from the 5 DOUBLE SPA BATHS, I wouldn’t call this room ‘luxury’ - plain white decor, laminate rather than carpet, had to balance the kettle on a bar stool to make tea/coffee, green fire-exit light on all night, background hum of air-con (or was it the boiler)… Having said that I wouldn’t blame the hotel, we could’ve gone and asked for a different room once we saw it. It was fine for one night on a Tesco Clubcard budget (LOL)! Plus they offered great service, even checking the room for our eldest’s ear buds when we phoned to say we thought we’d lost them! And the breakfast was yummy!

Dixie hotel bank holiday break

Clean and friendly hotel bit of decoration needed in room few repairs to carpet s tv was not easy to watch from the bed other than that all ok good breakfast all what u need would go back no issues there

I only spent one night with a friend. We had a brilliant breakfast the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for what we wanted that was to experience the night life around Mathew street. The car park was just across the road with reasonable rates given the discount from the hotel.i would certainly recommend this hotel

The dixie dean is in a great location. We had 4 adults in a room and the room was massive with 2 3/4 beds pushed together and a king size bed that was sooo comfy. 3 of is fitted in the jacuzzi bath which was entertaining to say the least 😁 the room was a great size hairdryer and wardrobe also a kettle, tea coffee and toiletries. breakfast was great with a goos variety of continental ans cooked with a selection of drinks to go with it and fruit. Bar had offers on.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Great buffet breakfast, plenty of choice of fresh, tasty variety of cooked food, pastries, cereals and fruit. Very quick Taxi service from front desk which was excellent as I had a hospital appointment in the morning.
