This 2 bedroom retreat sits on a private lake in Taylor Lake Estates, near Ace, TX.....
Enjoy nature , fishing, and relaxing by the fire pit while watching the sunrise and sunset reflections on the lake.
MAX OCCUPANCY 4 Please Comply.. NO PETS .. No Exceptions.
Outdoor grill, picnic table, patio furniture, bring own fishing poles and a cooler for your bait.
Quiet community, no large parties, keep sounds at a minimum.
Fully furnished 2 bedroom, one with queen and one with full size mattress. furnished living room sofa, two chairs, lamp , NO INTERNET hotspot Only. Direct TV is available. The kitchen has dining table for 4. Bathroom features tub, shower.and vanity.
Towels and linens provided.
The lake house retreat is perfect for a small family, or a couples lake side get-away.
No swimming in lake as gators have been spotted.
Please observe signs at entrance of community if 'catch and release' is in effect.
Please leave home in tidy condition. If using firepit, please monitor until fire is out.
Please place trash in garbage can behind the home at the end of your stay make sure lid is secure.
75.00 cleaning fee is non-refundable.

Serene surroundings

A simple, but beautiful lake cabin. Quiet neighborhood, gorgeous lake views. Well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will return for sure!

Great get away to relax and fish

Nice clean property with great access for fishing. Other amenities a plus - washer/dryer, gas grille, canoe. A great out of the way place to relax and decompress. We will come back.

Wonderful Get Away

Our family had a great time in this quiet peaceful neighborhood on the lake. The kids loved fishing and gathering beside the fire pit. The games in the house were a big hit as well. my son will be talking about "the fish that got away" for the next year to be sure!

Quick Getaway

The landscape is beautiful. All kinds of wildlife: birds, turtles and an alligator. We canoed on the lake and it was perfect. Very close to home. Air conditioner kept the place very comfortable.

Great getaway

We really needed a getaway during the COVID stress and this home was the relaxation and retreat we needed! Many pros- Clean, open floor plan, very very well stocked, welcome basket, great care and communication from the owner, spacious rooms, amazing lake view, large lot, quiet neighborhood, close to Livingston Lake State Park, indoor and outdoor games provided, fire pit on the peninsula lake front, turtles everywhere to watch, fishing, Direct TV, and beautiful sunsets. The only “con” we can think of is there are a lot of different scents when you first walk in but we unplugged all of the air fresheners no problem. I didn’t catch any fish and felt that the turtles and the baby alligator I saw were all laughing at me, maybe next time!

It was so nice to get away from our everyday lives. It was peaceful, the neighbors across the water canal, Lisa and Sam are very nice and made us feel so welcome. Cassandra was very responsive and kind, they even left a snack basket! We are planning to becoming regulars! So beautiful and at the risk of sounding repetitive, peaceful! Thank you again!

A Slice of Paradise

If you are looking for peace and quiet, soothing natural surroundings, and a great water view, this sweet rental is not to be missed! The owners have made very thoughtful provisions, from a breakfast snack basket to extra toiletries in the bathroom, to a coffee bar basket for in the mornings. They went to every effort to make my trip extra special! When they discovered that it was my birthday weekend, they got me a sweet card and birthday gift! What a beautiful and unexpected way to be able to remember my trip--to have a memento to bring home with me! This place is a peaceful, beautiful, relaxing and well-appointed home with exactly what you need provided to have a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this rental!

Little piece of heaven by the lake.

This property was perfect for our couple’s getaway. We were welcomed by a lovely snack basket and were throughly impressed by the number of amenities that were offered. Many properties are not as through in that area. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed using the grill for our dinner. The Johnsons went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was pleasant. It was a pleasure disconnecting from the craziness that was going on in the world. We felt very secure with all of the extra sanitation supplies such as hand sanitizer and wipes that were provided during our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and we will definitely be back.

Cassandra and DJ, Thank you for opening your home to us. We are honored to be your first VRBO guest. You have hosted well! You have expressed a deep love for others by making your place available with spectacular hospitality which allows your home to become our home for the weekend. Your extra touches for our convenience and pleasure were greatly appreciated. Not every place offers snacks to hold us over and plenty of paper goods to make clean up easy. The peaceful naps on the private lawn under beautiful shade trees by the water were a highlight. We encourage others to pack their picnic blanket so they too can gaze up into the gorgeous Spanish Moss blowing overhead. The lake is so peaceful since it doesn't allow gas motors. Thank you for the add-on boat rental...quite romantic for sunrise and sunset sails as well as functional to catch the 3-5 pound bass. We thank you for the tranquil relaxing experience and we praise God for connecting us to this simply serene home. We will definitely be back to enjoy your place again!
