The beautiful Herdwick Hut is nestled up on the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park, this area is a nature loverâs paradise, with footpaths and bridleways giving direct access to the Black Mountain from the farm. Herdwick Hut is solar powered, comprising of solar power lights, a double bed which when folded away reveals a seating area and table, wood burner as well as a gas hob and a fridge, and Wi-Fi to keep you connected. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, then outside there is a separate, private shower next to the hut, where toiletries are provided. Thereâs a lovely enclosed garden space with seating for you to relax in with a BBQ and firepit with all cooking utensils provided, and orchards planted around the hut and herb garden, which should be available for guests to help them selves to fruit and veg so make sure to keep an eye out!

If you are a romantic star gazer then the first International Dark Sky Reserve in Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons, is perfect for you. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way, major constellations, bright nebulas and even meteor showers. It is enough to make anyone starry-eyed.
