Owl Cottage

Owl Cottage is a recently converted 19th Century barn on the outskirts of the popular holiday town of Llangollen.



It has two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 people with one double and one twin bedroom. The cottage enjoys stunning mountain views over the Dee Valley and perfectly located so guests can enjoy both the tranquility of the countryside and the proximity to the amenities of Llangollen.



Guests have access to a fenced off section of our paddock, and the cottage also has an outdoor courtyard.



The open plan living/dining/kitchen area has comfy sofas to seat four, a fireplace, dining table, TV, free WiFi, and underfloor heating. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials for a self-catering stay with an oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster and microwave.



The bedrooms are both located upstairs. The first is a double with exposed beams and beautiful dual-aspect views over the Dee Valley, Castell Dinas Bran and Llantysilio mountain. The second bedroom is a twin with exposed beams and enjoys picturesque views down the valley to the mountains. Roll out type stairgates are fitted to the top & bottom of the staircase.



There is a free welcome pack provided for all guests which contains some locally sourced luxuries for a little bit of indulgence.



Owl Cottage can accommodate one well-behaved dog. As the cottage is situated in an area surrounded by working farms and livestock we politely ask that dogs are kept on a lead when exploring outside the farm and that guests stick to public footpaths, lanes and bridleways to explore this stunning corner of Wales. Dogs are not permitted upstairs & are not to be left in the property alone. No other animals are permitted.



There is generous parking outside the cottage. If you wish to bring more than one vehicle it's no problem.

A wonderful 2 night stay in Owl Cottage, very comfortable with extra added touches, everything we needed for a relaxing break. Visited with elderly parents, who thoroughly enjoyed it. Ideal location close to Llangollen & a day out on the steam railway.

Stayed in this delightful property for 6 nights. Was very clean and had everything we needed. We were met by the hosts who were very welcoming and the welcome pack was very much appreciated and a lovely touch. Llangollen is a great place for visiting the local area. We give it 10/10

Martin the owner was so friendly and helpful, the cottage had everything you needed and was a beautiful location for the views. Would recommend a stay there The only thing I could say is that if your not a good walker you might struggle as it is up a really steep hill and we didn't have a car so we had to use taxis and they only run certain times.

Had a fantastic stay with a warm welcome from the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble when contacting them regarding a spare fan during the heatwave. With 15 minutes we had been provided with one! Location was quiet and relaxing which is just what we were looking for. We were travelling as 4 adults, the guests in the twin room had suggested a clothes rail or wardrobe would have been really useful.

Contact with the owners. Furnishing of the house. The surroundings. I couldn't use the hair dryer in the bathroom, there was no suitable power outlet. So I had to dry my hair in the bedroom, but there is wall-to-wall carpet and you can't clean up the hair loss on that.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning and quiet location. Good size back garden with fantastic views. Easy parking and cottage was completley kitted out with everything we&#39d need. Nothing. We only stayed for two nights for a wedding, so didn&#39t explore. Will definitely be back.
