What a wonderful house for our large group! It was so clean, with many little welcoming touches, including fresh flowers and a personalized welcome sign. The large deck was perfect for hanging out outside, and the multiple living spaces indoors were super cozy. We were a short drive to the Hocking Hills attractions (15-20 minutes), but could also walk to nearby restaurants and a brewery. Great location!The hosts were incredibly responsive and made check in and check out very easy. All in all, a wonderful stay. I'd highly recommend this house for your next group getaway.

Everything was amazing! Location was excellent. 10-20 min drive from most of the popular hikes and it was right on Lake Logan. Walking distance from a handful of good restaurants and couple minute drive for groceries. The cabin was immaculate with tons of extra “touches” to make your stay comfortable. Tons of room and entertainment space and nicely equipped kitchen. Very obvious the owners take great pride in the property!

Lake Getaway

We had a great stay! Met at Hocking Hills for a family reunion. The home was perfect, plenty of beds for everyone. Great location, close to the lake for renting boats and kayaks and close to Campbell Cove campground where most of our family stayed. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back this way!

What a fantastic house for a getaway!

Family Weekend!

We had a fabulous time at Lakeside Hideaway! The owners are very responsive and you can tell they take pride in their property! The house was extremely clean, plenty of of towels, comfortable beds and patio furniture. The extra touches from the owners didn't go unnoticed. They have thought of everything you could possibly need! We enjoyed having meals and playing cards outside on the patio, the fire pit, the basketball court, hot tub and the view of the lake. The walk to the lake is less than 5 minutes! We rented a pontoon boat and went fishing! Lots of memories were made!

Lakeside Hideaway is wonderful

Our family of 7 adults and 2 children had an amazing Thanksgiving gathering from Chicago, Charlotte and Cincinnati; a perfect meeting location! It had everything we needed for cooking our wonderful Thanksgiving meal and so many extra personal touches that just made us feel so at home and welcome! Besides the amazing lake view and sunsets, the hot tub, fire pit, hot chocolate bar and s’more bar really warmed our hearts and added so much fun to our stay. The host were wonderful and very responsive with any questions we had, very flexible too! We were so sorry when we had to leave; definitely recommend this lake house and the pictures don’t tell the real amazing story. Great location near everything you want, hiking trails, caves, lake, grocery store and much more! Hope to return for another holiday.

We were centrally located to all activities in the area. The kayaks and pontoons are located right in front of the property. The owners are close to the property and go above and beyond to see that their guests are welcome. We celebrated 45 years graduating from Miami University and the property was perfect inside and out.

A great vacation

We enjoyed our time at the Lakeview Hideaway. The cabin was spotless and roomy enough for all 11 of us to be comfortable. The view of the lake was great as well as the large deck and hot tub. It was fairly close to everything we wanted to see. Everyone (including teenagers) seemed to have a great time.

Perfect house for a group

The house was great! Enough indoor and outdoor space for a group of 10. House was very clean and well supplied with linens and kitchen items. Great location to hiking, grocery store, and highway. The owners were great with communication and answering questions. There are a few houses close by, but the area is very quiet and we didn’t even hear the people at the other locations.

Friends Trip

We booked this property for our friends weekend which included 7 adults and 5 kids (ages 10 mo - 8 yo). The pictures and descriptions did not do the property justice! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! Jenny and Monte are the greatest hosts with quick and easy communication, attention to every detail, and sweet personal touches that make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel! The house was spotless and had plenty of everything (towels, places to sit and congregate, games, kitchen amenities, etc) We are already planning our next trip back to this beautiful property!!
