Don’t fear south coast

My husband and I have been going to Barbados for 12 years and we have always stayed on the platinum coast. This year we switched to the south coast and are so happy we did. The house was perfect in terms of bedrooms. The outside patio area had three separate areas to sit or lounge and the swimming pool was always a welcome treat. Comarie couldn’t have been a better hostess. Anything we needed was attended to immediately. The a/c was not working and she replaced the system the same day. We needed a can opener and one was produced five minutes after we requested it. Comarie was probably the best landlord we’ve ever dealt with and always treated us like prized visitors. We loved the house, eating at the Crane Resort and Le Shack and Delon’s roti shop. We ventured into the Gap and were rewarded with excellent dining at Champers and Primo. A wonderful time for sure. Thank you Comarie.

Short stay on the East Coast of Barbados

The photos of the villa do not do it justice - the areas inside are large and the pool area is amazing, as is the gardens and flowers. The area itself is very quiet and a great place to unwind and relax. The East Coast is more rugged and less manicured than beaches on the West, but all were very charming. Shark Hole is a 5 minute walk away and we thought it the best beach by far (Being a non swimmer it had calm water at low tide where you can just walk in the water and look at the fish). You can also walk to another beach in front of the Sam Lord's hotel which is sandy but the waves are stronger. Cormarie, the host, was exceptional and very friendly, bringing us a bottle of wine and bananas. She made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. We had one minor issue with the a/c which was dealt with immediately. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday, I'm sure we will be back in the future.

Excellent place to stay

The place was perfect for our family. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We stayed for 9 days and the location was great to see other attractions. Highly recommend :)

Spacious house with great pool

Nice 3-bed, 3-bath home with great pool and manicured grounds. Monkeys and geckos. Safe neighborhood. Comarie was very attentive. Only downside was neighbors dogs barking at night.

Amazing! Beautiful! Best vacation we have had!

We just returned from 9 days in beautiful Barbados and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. This property was beautiful and located in a peaceful location just steps away from the sea. Comarie, our hostess, was perfect. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We even had our rental car company fall through and Comarie arranged to have another rental dropped off to us when the entire island was sold out of rental cars. She definitely saved the day/trip! We arrived on Christmas Day and everything was closed so she even went to the store and made sure the house was stocked with basic food items. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful hostess Comarie was! The pictures don’t even do the beauty of the house and location justice. It is truly a beautiful place to be. It’s steps away from Shark Hole Bay, which is an amazing place to swim. We really had a perfect vacation. We’ve been to many Caribbbean islands and this was by far our favorite trip! We absolutely plan on returning and hope to rent a property from a Comarie again! You won’t be sorry with this beautiful property on a very beautiful island! Thank you for having us!
