Only issue was no fire pit grass could used a good mowing and my unit had a drip in shower that needs to be repaired Iâm a very light sleeper so this drip was annoying over all I enjoyed the place very much and would like to return
The environment around the cabin is good, we really enjoy the lake view. It provides free canoes for customers. However, the room is not really clean, we found a dead cockroach on the floor and a cobweb behind the restroom door. Additionally, no wife could be connected in the room, we had to step out of the room and then be able to connect to the wifi. Since there was no cellular signal in that area, it was not convenient. I have to say the A/C made a loud noise when it is working at night even though we put it on sleep mode.
The location is pretty. But the cabins need updating badly. Dirty stovetop, uneven burners that were difficult to use and no pots/pans/utensils/dishes/plates whatsoever. This would have been fine had it so stated in the listing. But it stated kitchenette. Fortunately the manager was very nice and borrowed the needed items from another cabin so we were able to cook. I appreciated her efforts, otherwise we would have had to drive miles to eat. With just a little more attention this property would be fabulous. It has all the important points, just needs a little tweaking with lighting, etc. All in all, if a person brings their own cooking supplies, they should be fine here. We found many eating places closed right now. The owner invited us to a hamburger fest which was great. People are friendly here.
Inn under new ownership and they are working out the kinks and learning what it means to become inn keepers. I had a great stay, location was PERFECT. Only miss would be the degree of cleanliness. The inn shows its age (stains on the carpet, walls, furniture, grime in the refrigerator and bathroom, etc...). Not the place you want to go barefoot but if you come prepared, you should be fine. Bed sheets were clean. The potential for this place is immense and I think with time, it will be even better! I would stay there again. They have kayaks and canoes on premise for use.
