CHATEAU LOOMIS ~~ Your European Getaway!!
Beautiful three-acre landscaped 5-bedroom estate in the northern California town of Loomis, in foothills between Sacramento (half hour) and Lake Tahoe (1 hr). Close to upscale shopping at Galleria in Roseville, and central for day trips to Napa wine country, Gold Rush towns of Auburn & Placerville, state capital of Sacramento, and high Sierra resorts. On property a large vineyard, lake stocked with fish, large redwoods & oaks, lawns, and natural creek in a park-like setting. Very large deck for entertaining!
Wonderful stay! We spent Thanksgiving at Chateau Loomis and enjoyed it. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and there were 2 refrigerators. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms had fresh towels. There is a beautiful pond and spacious, picturesque backyard and vineyard. The area is quiet but close to stores and downtown breweries. Highly recommend again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent three-day stay at the Chateau. The property features exceptional grounds, including about two acres of mature pine trees, a small vineyard, and a beautiful entryway that sets a welcoming first impression. There is plenty of space to walk, thanks to broad grassy lawns, making this an ideal fall getaway immersed in natural beauty. In the back area, there is a pond with a picturesque waterfall at its center, which creates a soothing backdrop of water sounds throughout the day. Our grandchildren had fun trying to spot and catch the fish rumored to live in the pondâthough they werenât successful, the experience only added to their enjoyment. The tranquility and maintenance of the property made our visit feel like a true escape. One rainy day gave us the chance to take advantage of the indoor garage playroom, which provided plenty of entertainment for all ages.Inside, the home easily accommodated our group of ten across five bedrooms. The house offered a place to relax and spend quality time together. For us, this rental stands out for its serene and scenic outdoor space. The grounds, highlighted by the pond and surrounding lawns, create an unforgettable setting for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a connection to nature. We visited in mid-November, I would imagine the spring and summer would offer different outdoor experiences. (The Chateau Loomis has a pond and a hot tub, not a pool)
