This was a great room in a fantastic area. My only complaint is the pillows were all extremely lumpy. I would recommend and stay again.

The room was nice, clean and staff was nice. My complaint is on the website it says and shows ocean view rooms and that is misleading because there are no ocean view rooms. Our view was the roof of the restaurant next door… it is close to the ocean but not close enough to be called “ocean view “. Also the tv didn’t work in our room and I let the front desk know so she came in and looked at it and told us that someone else would come in that they weren’t there then. We waited and went to bed. She called and said he would be there in about 15 minutes I told her we were already asleep.

Booked an Oceanview room Dec 3 2019. Arrived at 5: 30 p.m. Nobody at the counter/lobby in the hallway on the 2nd floor, buzzer did not work. Had to call owner/manager who then appeared from the room behind the counter. First room he gave us was on 3rd floor but it was occupied by 50 yr old Jeff Spicoli and lady, "Taken Bro" was uttered as we walked in. I suspected afterwards that this was our room but local surf tool showed up at last minute for the killer tubes and sheet weather. 2nd room on 2nd floor was also occupied by a young couple with a special needs daughter, we proably should have knocked but we were discussing the first walk-in. We walked in much to the disgust and horror to their daughter who became highly aggitated. At this point after apologizing profusely for the crackedhead manager mistake. We listened to the worst pass the buck to day shift excuse i've ever heard. The room we ended up with was not an Oceanview room i got to stare at the mexican diner room next door. The diner was Awesome by the way. These Bait an Switch con men take a one night security deposit which is we were staying so i was stuck. $245 wasted dollars. BUYER BEWARE OF ANYONE WANTING A SECURITY DEPOSIT. HARD LESSON LEARNED!!!!!!!!!!

We called the POLICE on the desk clerk. He was extremely intoxicated. He is also apparently the owner and all 3 police officers said they know him well from other calls on other occasions. He harassed us and made us feel like we might be subjected to more harassment during the evening. Yelling, cussing, random subject changes, occasional attempts to be nice and then subtle digs and berating comments. Unreal. Couldn’t get the keys right. By the time we were back from dinner our keys had been turned off. We managed to get our things and leave. He of course refused to remove the $200 charge from our card. The police could do nothing. Had to dispite charge on credit card. This is a bad human being. He wasn’t just drunk. He has contempt to the core for the comfort of other humans. I don’t understand how he is allowed to do what he does. Travelocity - remove this hotel. You absolutely can’t be sending one more customer to this place.
