I requested 3 times over my 4 day stay that my room be cleaned and made up daily, and my requests were ignored.
I am partially disabled. The hotel put me in a "handicapped accessible" room with a bathtub/shower. The bathtub's porcelain had been rusted and painted white, which made the tub's floor treacherously slippery to stand on while showering, and the tub too narrow to take a bath in.
When I complained to the Front Desk, all they did was waive a $17 "Facilities Fee" and because I booked the 3 night stay through Travelocity, they refused to refund any hotel nightly room charges.
Very horrible experience!

The hotel has an interesting history. The rooms are eclectic and very small. Locations is great walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Very nice hotel. Has the Old Hollywood feel!
Pros:Location and very helpful friendly staff!
Cons:MMake it eay room smelled a little musty or had an unusual odor.
Location:It was easy to get to my event destination from this hotel. I truly loved the ambiance of this hotel.
Staff was amazing. Room was adorable! Super clean and comfy. The only issue I had was the room smelled a little musty. Overall an amazing experience!

Great locations, nice hotel, small rooms
Pros:Amazing location. Nice, helpful staff.
Cons:Eliminate the resort fee. It's not a resort at all. Also, reconfigure the closet so it's easier to get rollerboards in them (given the small rooms)
Location:Central to all the sights of LA. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops
The Maison 140 is a cute little hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills. The location is great -- in a lovely residential neighborhood, easy to walk to a number of cute restaurants, and central to all the sights of LA. The only down side is that the rooms are really small. There was barely room to walk around our bed. The bathroom was tiny too. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is functional -- it's all just on the scale of a small hotel room in NYC or Paris. Also, they added a resort fee when there's no resort. They said you could use the pool at another hotel nearby, but then why not stay at that hotel? It just seemed like a BS fee.
