Although, the resort is beautiful but amenities are limited and food options are terrible. Besides the Japanese restaurant, all the other options are mediocre. On top of that, the hours of service for these restaurants are ridiculous and it doesn’t help that room service takes up to 2 hours. Hyatt Ziva has truly declined in quality over the years. The only memorable part of this hotel stayed is Alejandro, he is personable and truly an asset to the hotel unlike some of the others staff who we could tell couldn’t care less to accommodate the guests.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful views, several great pools. Nice beach but they said ocean too dangerous to swim in. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Italian restaurant adjacent to beach is so relaxing, beautiful and delicious. The other restauraunts were indoors and more noisy though, I think they are remodeling the other beach adjacent restaurant. French restaurant was great too. Ribeye at the grill restaurant was a bit tough.
There is a lot of familes with kids at this hotel though so if that annoys you then you might consider someplace else. It felt a bit crowded and noisy at times. But they do have an adults only pool which was a good escape.
Great gym too.

The staff, restaurants, rooms, and pools were all fabulous! Every single staff member we worked with was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit older than we're used to but well maintained.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food options - which are not always great at all inclusives. Our favorite was the French restaurant. The asparagus appetizer, shrimp bisque, fresh fish entree, and chocolate cake were all wonderful! We also really enjoyed the hibachi which wasn't as oily/greasy as the American ones. We ate at the buffet often for breakfast and their omelets and fresh fruit were our go tos. Lots of ingredient options and fresh salsas. We ate there once for lunch and wish we went back. The grill was filled with fresh fish/seafood made to order. I tried the sea bass, shrimp, and scallops - all wonderful! We also ate breakfast at the Mexican restaurant on the beach called Cortez. Again, everything we tried was wonderful. We mainly opted for lighter options for lunch which were everywhere. Our favorites were the quesadilla food truck, the steak tacos by the adult pool, and the chips and guac at the smoothie bar.
We spent a lot of time at the ocean front pool with the swim up bar and adult pool which was a little more removed and quiet. Service at both pool exceptional!

Rooms could use upgrades. Staff was great, sometimes had to wait for a waiter to come by pool to order drinks. Disappointed that you can no longer order food poolside unless you are renting a cabana.
Food options are more limited than they used to be and room service menu does not offer enough variety. Drinks were watered down.

Other items and amenities, including taxes and gratuities, and access to recreational activities and entertainment may also be included. Spend the day at the beach and work on your tan in the sun loungers (chaise longues) or kick back in the shade with cabanas (surcharge) and umbrellas. At Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos- All Inclusive you can cool off in one of the 4 outdoor swimming pools and indulge in a pampering afternoon at the full-service spa.
