It was impossible to pull off to side in order to check in at hotel before parking our vehicle. Check is was good; the room is very nice, but the shower needs work. I enjoyed the swimming pool. A big disappointment was the restaurant! We sat at a table for a while, but were not even acknowledged! At check-out after a one night stay, the lady was delightful and most helpful!

The good: The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff were very hospitable. The not so good: The couch looked like it was all stained up. Wouldn’t want to sit on that. Found a long hair and a used bandaid where they shouldn’t have been in the room-not ours. It would be nice to have coffee available more than just in the morning in the cafe.

The mattress was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve ever slept in! Loved the boutique feel and decor of the hotel. The only negative is the extremely small parking area, but there is an overflow lot across the street.

Check in shenanigan's

We had to check in at about 1:30 AM and the front door to the hotel were locked. We did not have a key to get in obviously so I was able to track somebody down to open the door. Family waited under the carport while I went to the second floor to check in. Parking was $22 in the back lot. We opted for a space across from the front entrance that was metered, but you didn’t have to pay till 10 AM. So we had free parking. As for the room, loved the decor and the Bluetooth in the mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom sink did not appear to be wiped down at all near the Kleenex boxes and behind the sink. There were enough towels and the water pressure was good. It was quiet in the hotel and we didn’t have any other issues. We had a short overnight stay so cannot attest to area shops.
