I highly recommend this property, my only complaint is the water pressure but itâs an old house so thatâs to be expected. The host was friendly and accommodating and even had complimentary snacks. The area is super cute with lots restaurants and little shops to check out.
Great neighborhood and looks good from a distance.
We came to Louisville for a staff retreat. We arrived about 25 minutes before our check in time (4:00). When we arrived a gentleman was still cleaning the property. We waited outside until he finished. He was polite. When we went inside there were dirty towels and linens in the downstairs Ben in the closet with the washer and dryer in it. Our major issue with the property was the air conditioner couldnât keep up with the heat. It was a hot weekend in Louisville with highs in the mid-90âs. Downstairs in the common areas (kitchen, dining room and living room) it was comfortable. But all bedrooms were mid-80âs downstairs and upper 80âs upstairs where most of the bedrooms are. The good news for the upstairs bedrooms was they had fans. Unfortunately the downstairs bedroom just off of the kitchen did not. There is a ceiling fan but it turns off with the light. The chain that should be there to turn the light off and leave the ceiling fan running is missing. So you either sleep with the light on and have a fan or you turn until light off and sweat. The kitchen and one of the upstairs bathrooms are by far the most up to date features of the home. Both are very nice. Thereâs not a lot of water pressure in the home, especially in the updated bathroom. Finally, itâs not the cleanest home. There are cobwebs in every vent and the baseboards arenât clean.
This was a great place for our family to all be together for our daughterâs college graduation. Plenty of room for our extended family to relax. On a beautiful quiet street. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the evenings!
The hot water heater went out during our stay, but it was fixed same day in a matter of hours. Appreciate the responsiveness, and walkability of the neighborhood was great!
While this property isnât horrible it certainly could use some care. The kitchen was the best and most updated room in the house, but could use an inventory of utensils and pots and pans. The only spatula looked like it had been well used and was the size of a kids kitchen spatula. The bathroom door in the downstairs bedroom would not shut all the way. It was very hot upstairs even with the AC on. We also had an issue with the alarm and getting the wrong code for the door from âhome base.â As for the outside, again it could really be nice with some extra care, which it doesnât look like it has had in a while. Overall it served our purpose, but for the price, not what we expected.
