Exciting home with plenty of space in Louisville's most walkable neighborhood! Walk to fun and entertainment, and enjoy fun and relaxing nights in the back yard!

The Space:
Great space, thoughtfully appointed - feels like home! We kept it simple and in the traditional style of Louisville. Vintage appointments with an emphasis on comfort! The perfect home base! Enjoy spreading out, or hanging out together, and rest in king beds for all!

Parking: There is space for ONE vehicles (unless you have two pretty small ones) on the side of the house. The rest is street parking, but no permit is required. Safe area!

The property was great. Rooms were clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils/glassware/etc, and linens were very comfortable. Location was fantastic for any meal of the day or going out at night. Would 100% stay here again.

Prior to check in, the host was very easy to get a hold of and they made the process very smooth for us. The property was very clean and accommodating when we arrived. The location was perfect for what we were there to do. We appreciate the hospitality!

We would love to give a five star but we unfortunately need to give a lower rating because of communication. The house was in an older area but had lots of places to eat, a coffee shop, karaoke, and great bourbon stores all within walking distance. The house was clean and nicely renovated. As for parking, we didn’t have much space on the property so we opted for the paid parking lot across the street. We followed all of the instructions as we departed. Communication with David was good until we realized our friend left his iPad on a bedside table shelf. We were already an hour and a half down the road so I messaged David right away and told him it was our fault and we would pay to have the iPad shipped back to us. We have messaged several times since (it has been 12 days) and we have not gotten any messages from David. Our friends reached out to VRBO and they also sent a message but did not get a response. They recommended our friends call and report this to the police. It does not have to come to this. All we want is communication.

Great property and location

We loved our stay here. Fantastic property that was clean and comfortable - the beds are fantastic! Perfect location within walking distance of many restaurants/bars and things to do. Short easy Ubers/drives to both downtown and Churchill Downs. David was extremely prompt with message replies and made everything very easy. We will definitely stay here again if we make a return trip to Louisville.

Great location just off Bardstown! Easy walk to restaurants, bars, grocery store, and Cherokee Park. Quick drive to Downtown or U of L campus. House had everything we needed. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. House had a nice outdoor space in the backyard with lounge seating, a small putting green, and hot tub. Great option for families or couple/friend groups.

Great house and location

This house was wonderful for our group of 4 couples. Everyone had their own room with a king bed, and there was a full bathroom on each floor. The backyard was a great hangout spot with the hot tub, fire pit, and putting green. We enjoyed the short walk to the neighborhood for shopping, food, and drinks. I would definitely stay in this property again.

Very cute older home

The owners did a very nice job of revitalizing this older home. There was plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable and in a good location. Everywhere we wanted to go was with in 15 minutes of the property. The home was clean and all the appliances appeared to be new and worked well.We enjoyed the back yard and did a fair amount of grilling. They had really nice outdoor furniture to lounge in. We had a couple requests from the owners, they accommodated quickly. Suggestion for the owners - it would have been nice to have some basic spices to use for grilling/cooking - salt, pepper and maybe some Lawry's seasoned salt.Overall, the stay was great!

Fun central location with plenty of room

Plenty of space for our families to spread out, the backyard was fun for the kids. Great location with easy access to activities and food. Note: it’s an older house which is well maintained but the stairs are definitely steep and not the easiest. There is a door on the top floor to a patio with steps down to the backyard, would love to see a safety lock added higher up on the door just to make it that much safer for families
