Lovely old hotel. Comfortable and clean. Limited food options around hotel. Staff had very few suggestions. Not accomodating for early check in without $50 fee. Parking was extremely expensive.

My stay at Hotel Genevieve was good, the staff was friendly. The hotel’s location was ideal for exploring what Louisville had to offer. My biggest issue was their valet, it was ridiculously expensive but the valet staff was friendly and professional.

This property- now part of Hyatt- gets more expensive but front desk service gets worse, lighting in rooms is terrible, and amenities found in even less expensive hotels are lacking. This wasn’t our first stay here, but it could well be our last.

Beautiful hotel. It was a very nice stay, but bring ear plugs. The bars are open until 4am, and so the noise from surrounding venues will keep you up until 4am.

Hotel gets 5 stars for location and overall aesthetic. The room was exceptional, with Le Labo toiletries adding to the experience. The only thing keeping my rating from 5 stars was the valet service. With construction, there are no other parking options other than to valet and we had a hard time finding the valet to drop keys, waiting a substantial amount of time with every in/out. This service may be subcontracted out to a 3rd party, but unfortunately it was enough of an inconvenience to dampen our hotel stay.

The hotel was unique and had an interesting entrance off the street. The room was dark and did not really have a good view but the bathroom was very nice and the beds were comfortable. There were a lot of dining options that were walkable which was nice.

This is a beautiful property with lovely decor, reminiscent of the 1930's and 40's, with some contemporary elements thrown in. I was shocked to learn that it was a new build, as the building appears to have been there a long time. There is a rooftop bar, a restaurant and a minimart/cafe in the hotel. The only drawback was the valet parking overnight in a secure lot came with a $60 price tag. The hotel is on a major street in Louisville where parking is limited, so be sure to keep that in mind. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Hotel Genevieve and I will be staying there again!

This was our second stay at hotel Genevieve. Every bit as lovely! Very comfortable beds, beautiful furnishings and great staff. We took our 5 year old this time and he was obsessed! The Cuban restaurant right across the street is our FAVORITE restaurant and we wished we lived closer so we could stay and eat there all the time!

The hotel is fine. But beware valet parking. I got in very late the first night and used valet and for one night it was $126. I have NEVER encountered a valet cost that high, not in Seattle, not anywhere. Luckily it appears to be safe to park on side streets, which I did all the other nights.

The parking was terrible. 40 bucks a night valet, that you have to end up paying because there is no street parking. There’s construction going on right in front of the hotel, Making it difficult to spot for an out of towner. Our room wasn’t cold enough and our fridge wasn’t cold. I was told I couldn’t use my $20 food and beverage credit because their systems was down. Water from the shower gets everywhere in the floor because of the way it’s designed. The only positive about this motel was it was clean and located conveniently to downtown.
