Great location with poor management
We stayed for 10 days in the apartment in the Alcardia block and really enjoyed the location which is very convenient to the marina, the beaches and shops / supermarkets etc. There is also a lot of cycle tracks and a cycle rental agency just along the road, a tennis court and a crazy golf area is also within very short walk. Restaurants abound down at the marina and in the side streets near the apartment there are more than you could count. The pool area and the pool is also very good with few people around and is generally well maintained. On the downside the arrival was a bit difficult but worked out eventually and the manager who met us took no time to show us how anything worked. The TV and air conditioning remote controls all had flat batteries and it took two days until we got batteries delivered so no air con for the first three days. Also I was shocked to discover there was no kettle and no mugs (only a few small espresso cups) and only one teaspoon. The saucepans and the pan were very poor quality like something you would get in a pound shop with loose handles and damaged bottoms. The apartment complex has a huge range of locks around the place so you need to carry a lot of keys with you at all times and the pool door does not allow you in until 9.30 so no early morning swims. That all said it is a nice apartment with a good view and could easily be a lot better if rather sloppy management staff would shake themselves up a bit and spend a few pounds.
