I called and emailed for connecting rooms (as we traveled with children); the manager refused to assist and acted as if he was doing us a favor by staying there. While checking in, there were multiple overheard complaints from other guests about the condition of their room, attitudes of staff, inability to have their family members on the same floor. There was not enough staff to handle the number of guest. 2 bartenders at the pool side bar for 420 full rooms. Some of the staff had attitudes, with some complaining that they are not paid well (or able to eat the food at the hotel), but expected to do the work of multiple people. My husband saw a roach in our room and 3 other rooms reported that they also saw roaches. The housekeeper did the bare minimum (not fully stocking towels or rags or cleaning the mirrors). The balcony slider was stuck and opened only slightly in our room. Another guest reported that their slider fell off and onto their son. Nothing was done to remedy by management... If you need adjoining rooms or travel with a group, you are rolling a dice by booking here. They are not keen on customer service AT ALL!!! Although I will not be returning to this hotel, I have to acknowledge the staff at the kids club. My children thoroughly enjoyed them and the activities (I'm not good with names, but I remember : Hailey and Bronx girl). We spent a week and the food was lousy with disgruntled employees. Not enough seating for meals. The air conditioning was not working for two nights, our room was 80 degrees, new nickname is Saunaesta. Moho Village had very limited shopping and dinning.

Our family had a great week stay at the resort. We enjoyed that it wa all inclusive, though I would suggest to come with plenty of $5 bills to use as tips for when you dine. The room was clean and had a good view of the pool and Maho Beach. A nice surprise for us was Island Cat Rescue located above the hotel. The dining options were great and we ate somewhere different every night. We would definitely stay here again.

This property has so much potential if only the staff was friendlier. The service is terrible. I spent a whole day with no soap and broken shampoo conditioner and body wash dispenser. I called multiple times and was ignored until I spoke with a manager 24 hrs later. The staff at the restaurants and bars are rude and have a bad attitude. Overall the food was okay and the hotel was clean.

I rated the overall hotel a 3 based on Che k and check experience. It was awful. Front desk had no personality and not welcoming. At check out got the same person that check me in. At check out she said I upgraded when I checked in and she had already charged my card the additional fees. I said I did not upgrade you checked me in and I gave you my booking info. No response she stared at me and handed me my receipt. Hotel Spa is amazing Flores and Sabina are great highly recommended. Kric, Renea, Travis and Darren all amazing bartenders. They should be training the front desk staff. I plan to contact Expedia about the “upgrade” room charge to see if they can help. This hotel has a party crowd Friday to Tuesday music is loud at the pool. Afternoon music 3-5 is acoustic private musicians and very nice morning music until three is loud and caters to a party crowd not that I minded but be aware for kiddos.

no bar staff early in morning. had to wait till after 10:30 for mimosa. even at breakfast no mimosa or anything alcoholic till then. pool bar same thing. towel staff not friendly looked at you like you were going to steal towels. idk the in room bar service was horrible count get anyone to fill it. the managers staff was called every day and they did nothing! food was basic, noting that said wow. we left property for dinner to not eat same thing italian. it was good but only "fine" dining
