We really enjoyed all the food choices. We enjoyed all the restaurants as well as the buffet. The pizza was delicious as were the bar b q hamburgers and hotdogs. The pool area was very busy but we planned ahead and had access to the adults only pool. I’m not a big drinker but the drinks were all very tasty. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Sonesta Ocean Point and had the Best Time! We were treated like royalty in the moment we stepped onto the property to the time we left. We stayed in the rooftop butler room! Our Butler Ranjeet was THE BEST! He went above and beyond, even serving us breakfast and pouring our champagne. He extended himself and booked us two days with the free cabanas when you have Butler service. He Arranged our Taxi Service we used to go around the island and to the airport! When we called reservations to make arrangements to go Nadine was so informative, and helped make the process seamless to get the butler service room, as well as explained everything. The pools were very clean, the Maho beach very nice and the area safe! We use the casino across the street from Sonesta, we use the rooftop bar Mimosa, which was so nice. We also had happier one day at ROMA and Ivy is The Best Bartender! I recommend trying her amazing espresso martinis!!! At Sonesta, both rooftop bars Sunset and Cloud 9 are incredible! If you go to cloud nine, go have a lemon drop martini and watch the plane fly over at sunset. The maid service kept the room cleanly every day, they extended themselves by replenishing the towels and if we need anything else they were there. All the restaurants have amazing food! For an all inclusive resort, we did not have a bad meal. Every morning Chef Jon made the best omelettes at Azul! The dinners at Azul or different every night and incredible.

Rooms, I had to call on 2 separate occasions for the cleaning staff to replace the right combination of towels and wash cloths. Maho beach is a great vibe but the resort does not face the beach in a place where one can easily walk from resort to the beach shores. In stead you have to walk around or walk on the shore of the neighboring property to get to a sea bathing friendly section of maho beach. The buffet food wasn’t that great. Even though it’s buffet they serve you. Whereas other all inclusives I have been to like Sandals. You are allowed to serve yourself.

We just got back from the Sonesta!! Signature island view double room. We had stunning sunset ocean views every day. This property is great. I'd 100% recommend this place. The room was cleaned every day. Fridge re-stocked every day. Pool area both kids pool and adults along with waterslides were great. Food and service was great. Staff was super great. The kids loved the kids club. Evening entertainment almost every night. The beach is rocky/wavy. If you're a strong swimmer you're fine. If not, I wouldn't recommend swimming right at the hotel/maho beach. Mullet Bay Beach is super close and amazing though. Walking down to the beach & watching planes fly overhead is amazing. Hearing planes take off and land never got boring. You see cruise ships come and go. It's amazing. I'd absolutely come back. A solid 4 star for sure. Maho cafe coffees and desserts were good! There's sandwiches too.

I Had a good time at the Sonesta, clean rooms, stocked fridge a variety of drinks, alcohol and non alcoholic, everything worked but the iron and house keep resolved that quickly. The grounds and resort were clean. The hotel is very close to the airport.
