The Barn at Turtle Hill | Okemo Views & 13 Acres
Summary:
The Barn at Turtle Hill is a rare find, a custom 5,100-square-foot timber frame home on 13.8 private acres with unobstructed panoramic views of Okemo Mountain and the southern Vermont valley. Just 5 minutes to Ludlow and 10 minutes from Okemo's lifts, this is the kind of place where every season feels like a reason to come back. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and room for up to 12 guests.
The Space:
The dramatic great room, centered on a crafted 30-foot stone fireplace, is the heart of the home: a place people naturally gather, and never want to leave. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for everything from weeknight dinners to full holiday feasts, with Thermador appliances including a double fridge and freezer, double ovens, warming drawer, and a 6-burner range with double grill, all centered around an oversized island that invites everyone in. Eat at the island, the breakfast table, or gather at the stunning wood dining table that seats 10, built for the kind of meals people talk about long after the trip.
Look up from nearly any room and you'll see either sky or mountain. A cozy media room, bar, and games room below, a reading area and family puzzle table up top, and a hot yoga loft with sweeping views mean there's never a dull moment, indoors or out. And when the snow falls, the toboggan hill on the property is an experience all its own.
New for Spring 2026, outdoor living at its best, a teak dining table that seats 10, four lounge chairs facing out to the valley, and handcrafted teak benches placed throughout the property invite you to slow down and take in the views from every vantage point. Morning coffee looking across at the ski mountain, afternoon sun on the hillside, a long al fresco dinner as the sun drops behind the ridge, and stars over the valley at night. As one guest put it, "Billion Dollar Views."
Five bedrooms and four full bathrooms ensure everyone has space and privacy. The details throughout, white oak floors, a handcrafted maple staircase, curated furnishings, reflect the care with which this home was built and is maintained.
