The check-in clerk was lovely. The hotel and room is clean but needing repair, everything is old and in need of updating. The breakfast was terrible. There was no breakfast. There was a jug of milk, two different cereals that were stale, mini muffins that tasted odd and waffles. There was any yogurt or fruit, not even banana and apples. This hotel should not advertise as having breakfast. It does not. Not even the coffee was hot. The clerk at reception at breakfast was rude. When I ask for yogurt she said the owner provided breakfast out of the kindness of his heart. When I mentioned they advertise breakfast online. She said she didn’t know about what was advertised online.

After a long hard trip from Vermont, the staff at the Red Roof in Lumberton was very efficient and courteous in getting me into my room as soon as possible!! I thank You for the service!!

Consistent service

I have stayed at this Red Roof on past occasions as an overnight mid-point for a longer trip. I find it convenient to I-95 and to restaurants and such. The managers seem to keep the motel in good repair and it is good value for the money.

The worst hotel stay ever

This was the worse hotel stay ive ever had. I literally stayed up to make sure no bugs got on my daughter...thiswas rhe second room they gave me I will NEVER go here again.
Microwave dirty with cruise on top and the floor was not clean either

When I walked into the room the bath water was running. I thought maybe was forgotten in the cleaning rush but no it stayed on would not turn off. The room smelled like smoke the sheets and pillows. I’m not a smoker so it hit me right at the moment I walked in. Then next morning went to take a shower and NO water running to the shower. Ran water from sink to get some hot water at least to do a quick bird bath but no. The water never got warm and shut off!!! Terrible as the front office said oh plumbing was cut off you should have let it run…..I said I did but not much you can do when it stops running all together. I packed and left only for them to still charge me for the night….

In most instances you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon checking out, we informed management about roach infestation. The response was an "oh well" , "not surprised" facial expression. We then informed them about a hole in the lower wall between the bedroom and bathroom. The hole being the size of a fist and appeared active as there was plaster debris on the floor in the area. This problem management made note of. Both issues were not discovered by us until morning. Would have requested a different room. Much more attention needs to be paid to the conditions
