This property is located North/West of Luray, off South Page Valley Road Luray, Virginia. It is about 8 miles to the town of Luray. A Lazy River Cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, on a hill top with panoramic views of the mountains. Relax on a spacious sun deck with a BBQ grill. Use the campfire area to roast hot dogs or marshmallows.
The Thornton Gap Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive is a wonderful way to view the Virginia wildlife and itâs about 25 minutes away. Luray Caverns is a 7-mile drive, and The George Washington National Forest Storybook Trail is only a 15-mile drive. Massanutten Resort âA Four Seasons Resortâ, Massanutten Water Park, and the Massanutten Ski Resort are 30 miles away.

Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. During inclement weather such as snow or ice we also recommend Travel Insurance during these months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $2500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

1. Occupancy & House Rules
The Property shall be occupied only by the registered Guest and approved occupants. Guests agrees to follow all house rules, posted instructions, and applicable local laws during the stay.
2. Assumption of Risk
Guest acknowledges that staying at the Property involves inherent risks, including uneven terrain, elevation changes, weather conditions, and recreational amenities. Guest voluntarily assumes all risks of injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from use or occupancy of the Property.
3. Hot Tub / Spa Disclaimer
If the Property includes a hot tub or spa, use is entirely at Guestâs own risk. Guest agrees to follow all posted rules and safety instructions. Children must be supervised at all times. Pregnant individuals or persons with medical conditions should consult a physician prior to use. Alcohol or drug use before or during hot tub use increases risk.
4. Monitoring and Supervision of Minors
Guest acknowledges that minors must be supervised at all times while on the Property. This includes supervision near decks, stairs, outdoor areas, elevation changes, and amenities. Guest accepts full responsibility for the safety and conduct of all minors in their party.
5. Mountain, Elevation & Terrain Disclaimer
The Property may be located in a mountainous or elevated area and may include steep slopes, uneven ground, gravel paths, stairs, wildlife, insects, and rapidly changing weather conditions. Use of outdoor areas is at Guestâs own risk, and appropriate footwear and caution are advised.
6. Deck, Balcony & Outdoor Structure Disclaimer
If the Property includes decks, balconies, porches, or elevated outdoor structures, use is at Guestâs own risk. Guests should not lean on or climb railings. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas. Furniture should not be moved in a way that creates unsafe conditions.
7. Release and Indemnification
Guest agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Host, and their agents from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from use of the Property, hot tub use, outdoor terrain, elevation, deck use, or supervision of minors, including claims arising from negligence of Guest or Guestâs party.
8. Damage Responsibility
Guest is responsible for any damage caused by Guest or Guestâs party to the Property, furnishings, or amenities during the stay.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Property is located.
10. Acknowledgment
By booking, checking in, or occupying the Property, Guest acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to this Agreement and all disclaimers.
