Nice Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Lviv
The Leopolis reminded me of the nice hotels I've stayed in throughout Western Europe (Venice, Vienna, Amsterdam, etc.). A great facility, very quiet, and you cannot find a better location for seeing the sights and for dining in Lviv's better restaurants and cafes. Staff was very service-oriented and friendly, and all spoke English well. Breakfast was very good too. I found some of the furniture to be a bit nicked up, but otherwise it was difficult to find any flaws.

A world class hotel in downtown Lviv, Ukraine
Pros:- Nice room furnishings, flat screen TV, ceiling skylights (top floor room)
- On-site restaurant with Ukrainian and western cuisine
Cons:Parking around the hotel, particularly for locals picking up or dropping off guests
Location:Lviv Opera House, many pubs and cafes, shopping, all within easy walking distance
I had a wonderful solo stay at the Hotel Leopolis in Lviv, Ukraine for a week in early January 2015. My room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Other travelers have complained about the hotel's Wi-Fi, but it worked perfectly for me, both in my room with my laptop and in other areas of the hotel with my iPhone.
The restaurant in the hotel was very enjoyable, with a nice mix of Ukrainian and western dishes on the menu.
I dd not have the opportunity to visit the on-site spa.
When I missed a connection due to weather on my flight from the USA, I e-mailed the hotel telling them I would arrive a day late,and asking them to hold my reservation. I received a prompt and courteous reply and my late arrival was handled without any problems. The staff seemed to speak fluent English, and were a pleasure to deal with.
I had no difficulty getting Ukrainian money from the ATM in the hotel lobby, but I did inform my bank of my trip ahead of time.
The hotel's downtown location makes it easy to walk to cafes, pubs and shopping. The beautiful Lviv Opera House is an easy three block walk from the hotel. But parking is in short supply - the hotel has a small lot with about a dozen spots on the street out front, and these we usually full. I did not have a car, but when my Ukrainian friends came to pick me up , they often had to park many blocks away.
In summary, the Hotel Leopolis met all my expectations and will be my first choice for a hotel on my next trip to Lviv

One of the better hotels in LVIV, maybe the best
Pros:Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, modern and clean

New, refurbished boutique hotel in a great location in the center of LVIV, very good quality, good restaurant, pleasant atmopshere.
Would stay there again. They also provided a complimentary airport pickup.
