A wonderful, clean, quiet, comfortable place. Great area, close to facilities, beach, parks, eateries. A nice licensed establishment across the street. Lovely greeting on check in with great local advice. Really enjoyed. Would highly recommend.

Close to the beach and walking tracks. Reliant on public, transport unfortunately is not regular and last bus at 5:30. Staff are amazingly friendly. Happy to recommend if not reliant on public transport to get around.

I stayed in a self-contained room and it was spacious. Little built-in hot plates to cook own meals. Motel was in a quiet residential area and across a street and park to the beach. Only disappointments was there was no outdoor seating outside my room. I didn’t mind that it rained the entire time during my stay.

This place was perfect, even though it was basic you could tell that there was a lot of love, put into it. The room was super clean. The owners were super friendly and you could tell that they were proud of it. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in MacKay.

The property is in a quiet area near the beach and eco-walk trails. A vehicle is needed to get to shopping, restos etc but driving is easy. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. First rste value.
