The hotel itself seemed nice. However, our stay itself was just okay. Fire alarm went off after dark and many evacuated. We had to wait outside with a crowd of people smoking. The water in the bathroom faucet and shower was straight brown one morning— even if you left it running, it stayed brown. There was a conference at the hotel and there were several smelly individuals sleeping on common area couches. One blew an air horn in the lobby while I was checking in. Overall, our stay did not meet the standards of the kind of hotel I prefer to stay in.

This was a great place to stay! The room was clean & spacious. The location is close to everything downtown Madison. The weather wasn’t great & the hotel has a shuttle service that will take you most anywhere you want to go. The bar & bartender Dallas were awesome! Dallas gave us great recommendations on things to d & places to eat (Marigolds😋). There is also a restaurant & Starbucks in the hotel. Highly recommend!

it was christmas so they were understaffed, however the stay was just a good although the lounge was set up differently, it worked but definitely prefer the usual way. i’ve been stayed 6 nights the past two months, 3 different visits and this is by far my favorite staycation in Madison. just need spa amenities

We were not aware we had a free breakfast. We did have a brunch on Christmas morning that was good, waiters were very nice. This is the second survey you have sent me. I replied to the first with comments about the lack of housekeeping for the entire stay. Had we not contacted the front desk we would not have been aware that housekeeping only comes in every 3 days. We were there 4 nights and only had clean towels when we caught housecleaning that were in the room next door. Trash cans were not cleaned, other than the bathroom can the day were received those towels. We had to call the front desk to get coffee for our in room coffee maker. That coffee was very good, by the way, but I had to wash out our coffee cups everyday.
