Great staff, great location

I wish we could have stayed longer--really a lovely place--but we were just there for a night's sleep and had to leave crazy early in the morning. The receptionist was proactive and efficient, setting up our wake up call (in case we ignored our cell phone alarms) at check in and ordering us a taxi in advance. The bellman made sure we knew where everything was, including the free snacks we could grab for a quick "breakfast" in the a.m. At 2:45 the next morning, the taxi was not only there but saved us a headache at the airport. We were flying two different airlines, and supposedly were leaving from two different terminals. The receptionist checked with the taxi driver, who insisted that both airlines operated out of the same terminal. Who to believe, the airlines or the cab driver? The receptionist said, "Honest, this guy is the best, he knows his stuff," so we went with the driver. And yes, he was the best: he was right. I wish we could have stayed longer--lovely place, lovely people.

fabulous hotel

Pros: There was a large selection of tapas available for guests almost all day included in the price of the hotel and the bar had a good selection of wines.
Cons: absolutely nothing.
Location: We walked to the Prado and many other attractions in the area.
The entire staff was friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. The location was ideally located and within walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to see.

Helpful front desk, great location

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: internet free but had to sit near front desk
We had a very comfortable room with all the amenities. Location is key to us.
