I loved the room. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The heater and air conditioning worked well. My main purpose for visiting Madrid was to go to the museums. The Prado Museum is very close—just across the main road. Many tourist attractions are within walking distance. There are local restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. I went to DIA every day to buy food.

You could likely find slightly cheaper simple rooms nearby, but Hostal Bruna is in a quieter area than most. It is very close to the Prado Museum and train station and you will sleep better.

I loved this place! I’ve never stayed at a hostal before but it was really great and exceeded my expectations for someone who was on a budget. It was very clean and comfortable. The house keeping was great, they replaced towels and toiletries regularly. It was the perfect place that was walkable to all places we wanted to go to. Would definitely stay here again!
