The hotel is freshly renovated & looks clean & inviting. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The open-air restaurnant/bar on the roof is spectacular. Issues were paper-thin walls and people inside the hotel & on the streets outside partying until dawn. The revelry was very loud and kept me from sleeping. Please add some hooks in the bathroom for my toiletry kit and/or clothes..

The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear all the noise from the street as well from the other rooms. They don’t offer complementary coffee for the guest, you have to pay like three euros for a weak cup of coffee.

Great Central Location.

Hotel is in an excellent location. Very central to Madrids main shopping streets. Metro next door, so cannot fault that. Breakfasts were acceptable. Not a wide selection, but everything is clean and fresh. Bedrooms very compact For a weekend break the hotel works.

Disappointed

The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms clean. We ended up in the annexe part of the hotel. The room in general, I felt needed some tlc and was rather tired and dated. The stay would have actually been ok where it not for the flat uncomfortable pillow (there was only one each and no spares). Plus, the rooms were advertised as soundproofed but the noise from slamming doors throughout the night (not just the other rooms in my hallway but other floors) meant I had the worst sleep I think I’ve ever had in a hotel. There was also strange mood music being played in the hallway which I could hear in my room. I wouldn’t stay here again.
