Location logistics: Walk to The Village and the Village Gondola (winter access to Canyon Lodge). Youâre a short drive to local parks (Shady Rest Park, Mammoth Creek Park), the Town Loop Path, Sierra Star Golf (seasonal), Mammoth Rock ânâ Bowl, Volcom Brothers Skatepark, and shopping/dining at The Village, Main St/Old Mammoth Rd, and Minaret Village (Vons).
Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The kitchen was fully stocked and updated and everything was easy to find. The location was amazing. Easy access to the Village Gondola and shops. Would definitely return!
Fantastic location, condo is laid out well, everything works, etc. The only issue which turned out to be somewhat problematic for a 4 night stay is that the beds are very, very uncomfortable. It was a comment made by all guests staying in the house. If they had more comfortable beds, I would give this 5 stars.
Place was great - very spacious and everything was very modern. Great location and easy to walk to the village. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend!
The condo is located close to the Village, updated and looks like the photos. The condo comfortably fit our group of 10 adults. We found all the mattresses incredibly firm though (too firm for most of us). The kitchen was remodeled and great to cook in, except we were surprised they only have us 3 dishwasher tabs and zero extra garbage bags for a 3 night stay with 10 people in the house, no surface cleaner and no Tupperware which would have been nice to have. We also found the property management company not very responsive. The digital door batteries died on Saturday evening and would not come out to replace the batteries, which was terribly inconvenient (someone had to be home at all times to let us in). And they were completely unresponsive when we asked for late check out and to let us know if they found a few items we inadvertently left behind. So those few things detracted from our stay.
This home was exactly as pictured on the listing. It was easy to get to and very close to the village, which was nice for getting on the gondola. It slept everyone comfortably and had a nice living space for everyone to hang out. Would definitely stay here again.
It is hard to find a lot of positive things to say considering the price. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. One of the bathrooms in the lower level canât close the door unless you get in the shower. The other bathroom had caulking peeling off all around the tub. Additionally, there was no ski storage. The closets I assumed would be used for such were filled with random junk and unusable. The overall state of the unit didnât live up to the price. Would not stay here again for what we paid.
Our stay at this rental was extremely disappointing due to numerous issues with the property and the host's poor communication, which made our trip unnecessarily stressful. To begin, we didnât receive the check-in instructions by the time we arrived, forcing us to drive to the hostâs office to figure out how to access the property. This delay was both inconvenient and unprofessional.Once we finally checked in, the problems continued. There were no parking passes left for our cars. The toilet in the main bedroom was not functional and required a plumber to come out twice before it was finally fixed Saturday afternoon. The bed frame in the main bedroom was also broken and collapsed while I was laying on it. When complaining about these issues, we were kept waiting for âupdatesâ and had to keep following up. I once again had to drive to the office in order to receive a timely update. Instead of resolving the issue properly, the host offered a blow-up mattress, which didnât arrive until midday Saturday. All of these delays and inconveniences left us without proper sleeping arrangements, parking passes, or a functional bathroom for nearly half of our stay.In addition, the property was not adequately stocked with basic necessities like trash bags and dishwasher pods, so we had to purchase these items ourselves, adding yet another layer of frustration. The lack of timely communication from the host throughout these issues only made matters worse. Considering the premium price
