Awesome stay in excellent condo with great location

My little ones loved the proximity to the playground and went there every day. My wife loved how close we were to Distant Brewing. The rest of the businesses on Old Mammoth Road were an easy walk in beautiful weather, but the condos are set back far enough from that thoroughfare on Chateau Road that there was never any traffic noise. The unit has excellent classic painting advertisements from European ski resorts, all the utensils needed for the kitchen, a comfortable couch, a good wood stove, nice clean comfortable functional bathrooms. In all, it is very cozy and pleasant. If I was going to change one thing, it would be to get rid of the Keurig Coffee Maker and just buy a traditional one. The unit came with no K-Cups and in our previous stay, it had a regular coffee maker, so we brought our own.

The property is nice. Not very updates but all the important things worked well. The wood stove seemed like it needs to be serviced. It would not stay lit.

Overall this property was good, but some of the details were really missing. Every electrical outlet in the house barely works. The only coffee maker was a kurig style and they only left 2 pods (for a party of 6 staying 4 nights). Just little bit picky stuff like that. Overall fine, but some easy opportunities to improve.

I prepaid for this property. The management company canceled my prepaid stay. They did absolutely nothing to help me find a new property. Do yourself a favor don't stay here

Everything was as listed. Easy parking. Great cozy cabin nearby so many good local spots. Jacuzzi, pool, sauna are nice! Easy access to shuttle & trolley.

cozy and convenient

first the condo - has everything you need don’t bring anything for kitchen - cozy, clean, safe, more than enough space to accommodate 6 of you - warm wall heaters in every space - don’t miss the huge sofa bed - internet could be more secure but worked well - the wood burning stove takes small logs - bring a hatchet :) neighborhood - good for long pretty walks - bus stop to and from slopes right outside front door - minaret village with groceries, sushi, pizza and coffee shop walking distance - very convenient we will certainly look forward to return to unit 11 in the future

Charming place to stay. Comfy, clean and cozy.

We spent 5 nights and enjoyed the place the whole time. Print kindling and paper (or a hatchet) to start fires because it’s hard to get the logs provided started without. Once going, the wood stove heats the place up great.

Unit is conveniently located off of Chateau Rd, only con to that was the trash bins are in the rear of the facility. :-(. Appreciate that it is a townhome so you have no worries of making too much noise for guests below or above you. I didn’t realize the bathroom connected to the “master” was a shared bathroom was the only misunderstanding probably on my part. Nice unit, quiet complex. Only concern was a obvious dip in the floor when entering the kitchen (by trash receptacle).

We loved the house, stayed For 7days. Only upset was no hot tube due to Covid. Everything else was beautiful. Very spacious.

No TV service not working upstairs and downstairs Closet door was jammed downstairs and had a lot of stuff in it we could not use Place smelled old very old We usually have loudry service this one did not Downstairs bathroom jack and Jill door one of them did not lock lock was not working Kitchen sink had a tub under the cabinet for the leaking water kept overflowing We had NEVER experienced such embarrassment with our friends visiting for dinner. We have visited Mammoth Villa De Los Pinos for the last 20 years on Chateau road many times none of the times we were so disappointed . All the other times we had given 5 stars. Although The property management was very supportive and can next day fixed closet door but could not do anything with tv’s we spent 3 days with no news or basic tv for the kids and programs. Cozy nights were not that cozy. Thinking twice if next winter will be worth the visit or if the service is diminishing through the years . We apologize for the negative feedback but this is the 1st time we came to this type of experience in Mammoth. Thank you for your time.
