If I could give zero stars to this property, I would. The area both outside and inside the hotel room was not clean at all. Immediately upon entering the room, a cockroach appeared on the pillows of the bed. Blankets had stains and cigarette burns. Even though it is labeled as 100% smoke-free, our room had a strong cigarette smell. Overall, yes, it is a low-cost hotel, but it was unsanitary to the point that we were not able to stay overnight.

We did not even check in because the place looked very run down. A few sketchy people had brought furniture outside and were sitting by their doors. The police were there dealing with an incident. Not safe for my family. Could we get a refund?

The linens and pillows had stains on them. There were gnats and mosquitos in the bathroom. The toilet seat had a crack in it. I grabbed a hand towel and a crack pipe fell out onto the floor. Cops were outside when we arrived. We gathered our things and asked for a refund. We did not feel safe.

Homeless people singing all hours of the night on the property- outside the doors to the rooms. Kept everyone up all night. I arrived at 8:30 pm and the lobby was closed down except for the old bank-teller type window, that was unmanned for the better part of an hour. As a solo traveler, I felt unsafe. As I was waiting for the lobby receptionist to appear, another motel guest came into the night lobby and saw me waiting. He said “ you should not be here alone, it’s unsafe”. I tried to explain that I was waiting for the attendant and stated I should wait elsewhere for safety. I would have left at that point, but I had prepaid for the room. After the attendant appears, I finally was able to get into my room. He said that he was helping another guest- but for 45 minutes? The bed covering had stains. The homeless serenading at all hours of the night should have been stopped. This is unacceptable! I hardly slept and left at 4:45am to escape the chaos. ZERO out of 10- would NOT recommend.
