Unfortunately for the 3 nights i was there no hot water was available in my room. I couldn't shower and had to wash in cold water. I made several complaints over the 3 days but was told the hotel was fully booked so I couldn't change rooms. I was offered to use a showr in a room that had just been vacated but not cleaned. As this is totally unhygienic, I declined. Probably will not stay there again

check in was terrible

i’m 19 and was taking my 16 year old cousin to a concert and wasn’t made aware upon booking that one of her parents had to send the hotel an email with her ID and a parents ID and confirmation that I was allowed to be responsible for her. This was a massive inconvenience as we then had to get in contact with her parents and get them to send over the email where as if we had been made aware before hand we could have done this in advance. took us almost an hour to get checked in because of this and we had no apologies from the staff they kept just telling us to go wait at the side and come back in 5 minutes and then they would say the same thing over and over as the email wasn’t coming up and then we were told we had been given the wrong email address even though a member of staff had just written it down for us. Once we got checked in the rest was fine the room was small but clean decent size shower and comfortable bed, ideal for after a concert.

For a budget hotel, this ticked all the boxes. Spotlessly clean, polite and helpful staff and just a short walk to the car park which was very reasonably priced for 24hrs. Also just a short walk to the bars and restaurants. Totally stressless thank you.

This is advertised as basic but is beyond what i would regard basic. Extra charges for anything other than a bed- not even a phone chatge point nesr the bed side shelf. Low water pressure, rubber mattress cover, cheap bed linen. The shower door opened i to the room which meant water spilt all over the floor. Lifts very old and slow. Poor sound proofing. Only 2 plus points were air conditioning and location to tram stop. If you're happy with a bed in a shed then book this hotel!

For everyone staying here, be careful: This hotel double charged me at check in when it was already paid in full via Expedia.co.uk, staff at reception apologized for the error. When checking out I noticed my bank statement and I was double charged again the next day for the same stay. Not a good experience!

Whilst not somewhere you’d come for a holiday per se the hotel is ideally located for Coop Arena - 20 mins walk or 2 stops on the tram opposite. Room and sheets and towels clean. Air conditioning was a huge bonus in this hot weather.

We stayed here as it was convenient for the area a. I get it’s a budget hotel. We paid £193 for a nights stay. I wouldn’t class that as budget. The room was beyond basic. There was no hot water in the shower. Although walkable to the arena I wouldn’t stay here again.
