2/10 Terrible

During our stay at ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street, we experienced a serious breach of privacy.
Approximately 45 minutes before checkout, a member of housekeeping used a key card to unlock and open our room door without knocking or announcing themselves, despite the room still being occupied and no housekeeping having been requested.
Both occupants were inside the room and undressed at the time, leaving us fully exposed when the door was opened. This was extremely distressing and humiliating.
We reported the incident immediately to reception and later escalated it to the Hotel’s GM, Frederic via email on 25/12/25. At the time of writing, we have received no response.
This was not a minor inconvenience but a clear failure of basic guest privacy and safety standards. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.
