Prices don't reflect how nice these rooms are. I stayed in a suite which was a huge room with everything you'd need. Weirdly the sofa is underneath the TV but there are 2 other chairs. It's an old building and there is clearly work that needs doing but it's clean and comfortable.

Check in was good, no drama. The evening meal was absolutely fantastic and well priced. Breakfast was good and very reasonably priced. Staff were courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay again - the hotel was right in the city centre and was close to the places we wanted to get to. My only negative was the room was a little tired regarding the decor, but apart from that bed was ultra comfy, shower was amazing! Will definitely miss that. But if the room had a fresh lick of paint it would be 10 out of 10.

Stayed in room 10 and the a/c that also works as heating was blowing dust. Woke up after 3 hours of sleep with scratchy throat. All personal belongings covered with layer of dust. Simply horrible stay.

Pretty poor

The building is not as advertised, looks very run down and scabby on the outside and the photos provided are definitely mock ups rather than actual photos. No real signs or directions to reception on arrival, it's not clear which of the front doors you're meant to go through. No proper reception area to sit to wait to check in as it pairs with the restaurant. Room was not as advertised, very small, very worn down and dated, was downstairs for some reason, had a tiny window and was cold despite the heating being on. Bathroom had someone's fake lashes on the floor despite the room being "cleaned" before check in. Restaurant was fine for dinner, food was alright but service was pretty bad, staff not really paying attention to customers and long waits on drinks and bill despite it not being busy. Staff on reception were nice and tentative but that's about the only good thing about the place. Would stay elsewhere.

Check in was great lovely man on the front desk Car parking available £5 per night (Stayed 1 night but booked two days parking ) Didn’t have breakfast but it did look fantastic and nice and fresh The hotel looks drab from the outside but was a lovely surprise when inside Two double beds however they looked bigger Very comfy indeed Enjoyed my stay very much Tram line Trafford bar literally 1/2 mins walk Manchester United football ground 10/15 minutes walk Definitely go visit Arndale shopping centre as well as Trafford Centre Sealife ans Lego discovery Till November 02/03 they have a fun fair and circus at Trafford Centre

Room not ready for 2 hours

I was incredibly disappointed by the service of this hotel. I arrived 45mins after the advertised checkout time. I was visiting for an black tie event so needed to get ready in my room and leave by 5pm. On arrival I was told my room was not ready and would be cleaned in 15 minutes. An hour an a half goes by in which I am forced to get ready for this event in the hotel lobby, using the poor restaurant toilet to get changed in. My room was finally ready by 5pm but I had to leave so I threw in my suitcases and left. At no point was I offered an alternative room to use, and when asked if I could at least have a free drink from the restaurant whilst I waited I was refused. I cannot honestly rate the rest of the facilities because other than sleeping in the bed for 4 hours, I didn't get to use a single one. There also was no information given to be about the hotels facilities or even any information within the room about any. Upon discussing this issue via the booking platform the hotel apparently said I was lucky to have been upgraded to a deluxe room...no use if I couldn't use it when I had needed! And the only compensation for this poor stay was a 30% discount offered on my next stay....which there is no way I would be re booking anyway! The location of the hotel is well suited to visiting the local stadiums, and has a tram station right behind it so travel is easy.
