The staff was friendly and helpful, however the initial checking in was a but of a problem, i booked a non smoking room and we were given a converted non smoking room but unfortunately the smell was intolerable-thankfully we were goven another room, the elevator is a little slow, and the lobby bathroom is constantly locked, the rooftop bar/restaurant is beautiful but foods is mediocre 5/10. Location is spot on however.

I have stayed at the City Garden Grand several times now and it is my first choice when staying in Makati. The rooms are always immaculate and the staff are always welcoming and happy to help. The hotel has great amenities and the roof top bar and restaurant are excellent.

Staff is remarkably hospitable and pleasant to deal with. Use of the spa was utilized again on this trip and the breakfast provides numerous options to satisfy one's palate. Hotel is in an area that is close to many options for one's enjoyment.
