The Front Porch is a nice cozy 2-Bedroom, 2-Bathroom house on Toledo Bend Lake in Hurricane Creek off Lanan. the house has been Remodeled giving it a Fresh feel with plenty to offer. Nice kitchen layout, Coffee Bar, Large Screen TV with Satellite service. The Porch is where the outside comes alive with entertainment. The large covered porch has a outdoor bar area with multiple cooking accessories. There is a Sink, Charcoal BBQ pit, Gas Cooker(Must Bring own Propane), Swing, Rockers and Outdoor Lighting, making it likely you will be spending most of your time outdoors. At the lake there is a boat-house ready for weekend use.

No Pets. No Smoking.
The Front Porch will be clean and in working condition. No compensations will be given for non-working items outside the owner’s control, including but not limited to power outages, TV outages, internet outages etc. For items inside the owner’s control, the owners will make every attempt to rectify problems that may occur while you are in the home. It is the renter’s responsibility to notify the owner immediately if there are any problems. No refunds or any other compensation will be given for the problems that the owner is able to rectify within a reasonable time frame.
The Front Porch is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
By your confirmation, guests booking The Front Porch are hereby agreeing to all terms and conditions of this agreement.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is beautiful and so peaceful! It was much needed rest and relaxation. The fishing wasn’t too bad either!

Great Stay

Excellent accommodations with plenty of room. It was only my son and I on this trip but will book again for a family outing. The boat ramp/shed is a great perk although the angle is steep and care must be taken when loading/unloading. Very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful Cabin with a great porch

The cabin is clean and built of quality. Onsite boat launch was nice. The back porch is where we stayed when not fishing but the inside was welcoming after a tired day on the lake. Would stay again. No wifi yet, so bring a hotspot if you need Wi-Fi for work!

Family

We have family in the area and we’re coming in for a family funeral. The property owners were amazing. The house was wonderful. The views of the lake and the beautiful front porch were just what we needed to come back to after a couple of long days. We are looking forward to coming again and being able to get some fishing in. The house was clean comfortable and very accommodating to our needs. I would highly this property for anyone who is looking for a relaxing retreat.

Porch Heaven

The porch had everything to gather and relax. Very spacious. Bed swing was the best thing! Very clean, comfortable, and spacious inside. Large table to gather inside and seating outside. Perfect for our family getaway of six. Boat ramp on property with dock. Host answered very quickly. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for 2 couples also.

Great experience, the property was awesome. Only 1 VERY small issue. The coffee station needs some attention. The carafe side doesn’t seem to work. Not worthy of a serious complaint. Overall 5 star review, Thanks.

Great house in great location

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed every minute. We brought our bass boat and was able to keep it under the boat cover. It was very handy, but the floating dock was falling apart and could be dangerous for children or someone with phisical issues. Also, if spiders are an isuue, do not go into boat dock. There are more spiders than you can count. Every morning we would spend 5 minutes just clearing spiders from the boat. The lake location is great. It is in a little cove protecting you from rough water. You can catch tons of little catfish right from the bank. And just short boat ride to good bass fishing. The onsite ramp was very handy. It is very steep, but we have a small aluminum bass boat and big truck, so we had no problem. Public ramp not far if you want to use that. The house was beautiful and furnished very well. We did not spend much time inside, but you would have everything you need or want if you did. The lake of course is amazing. Lots of wildlife and lots of different kinds of water for whatever you want to do. We would definitely recommend staying here.
