Summary:

Welcome to Villa Shoals! An idyllic family-friendly retreat unlike any other. Engulfed by emerald green waters of Granite Shoals in Texas, it’s blessed with a gorgeous location on constant level Lake LBJ.



The Space:

The villa’s outdoor area is a relaxing spot with rustling trees and verdant foliage. Waterfront attractions like kayaking in the 2 provided kayaks offer much-needed respite on sunny afternoons. Unwind on the covered back porch or stretch out on the lounge chairs dotted around. Feast on a full-sized BBQ and dig into hearty meals at al-fresco tables. A crackling fire pit is perfect for cozy sundowners.



The living room is spacious and well-lit. High ceilings and dewy white walls are combined with elegant wooden fixtures. Bursts of turquoise color add to the charm of the interiors. A snug seating arrangement flanks the smart TV.



A 4-seater corner table overlooks lush outdoors, in addition to another dining area that sits 6.



The kitchen is roomy and fully functioning, with stylish white cabinetry and granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances include a coffee machine, refrigerator, oven, microwave, blender and toaster.



All bedrooms are tastefully designed, ideal for a good night’s sleep.



The home accommodates 6 guests in 3 rooms. Two bathrooms are also available. Bedroom #1 & #3 and both bathrooms are located on main level. Bedroom #2 does require going down a small set of stairs.



Bedroom #1 and bedroom #2 feature queen-size beds.



Bedroom #3 has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.



THINGS TO NOTE:

- A washer/dryer is included.

- No Pets Allowed. No Exceptions.

- 2 driveway spaces are available.

- Additional parking is allowed on the grass, in front of the fence.

- The boat lift as seen in the photos is not available for guests use. Guests can tie off up to 2 jet skis to the side of the dock, but guests do not have access to the boat slip and lift. Guests have access to boat launch near house and can bring a boat and launch and then park boat and trailer at house each night.

- Jet Ski shown in photos are not available for guest use.

-2 Kayaks and Paddles available for guest use.



Located 7 miles west of Marble Falls in Burnet County, Villa Shoals in Granite Shoals is ideal for laid-back lakeside holidays. On Lake LBJ which is a constant level lake and part of The Highland Lakes, among the largest chain of lakes in Texas, it boasts tranquil fishing spots with extraordinary sunsets.



Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee.



Other Things to Note:

This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

The house was clean and comfortable, with very nice amenities. I loved that our kids each had their own bedroom and privacy. The yard had a lot of space for games, and we enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery. We would stay here again.The only issue we experienced was the property management company telling us we could utilize the boat lift as we were bringing a boat with us. We asked prior to booking since it was not mentioned in the description, and were told it was available. This was our deciding factor for choosing this location. We happened to look back at the listing for something and noticed that the description had been updated to include that the boat lift was not available for guest use. We asked again, and the day we were to arrive were told we could use it. However, just a short while later, we were informed that the lift was occupied. As we could not change our booking, we were able to make the situation work without the lift.

Girls Trip

Beautiful home on the lake. Relaxing and peaceful. Our girl trip was a wonderful time with great food in the area, shopping downtown and relaxing at the home looking at the lake. Perfect 4 day getaway.

Perfect place on the Lake

House was better than expected. Super clean! Will stay there again if we have the opportunity. Parking is tight as expected based on clear description but we were able to fit 2 vehicles and boat trailer. Boat ramp just down the street, super convenient. Still holding out hope my son’s AirPods will be returned.

Awesome place!

Place was exactly as advertised in the pictures. Boat lift worked perfectly. the alcove where this house is located is perfect for boating around and pulling kids on a float or knee board. House was very nice and clean and everything worked well. Would definitely go back again or recommend.

Fall Family Getaway

This location was great for our family of 5. Close proximity to state parks that we visited while we stayed. We also used all of the available water toys - fishing, kayaking and rented a boat for one of the days. House was very clean and I really appreciated the amount of necessities that were provided - dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, shampoos, conditioners, cooking essentials, and first aid kit. Along with some added bonuses to reduce our packing - life jackets of all sizes and pack n play. Would definitely stay again!

Great family vacation!

Great property on Lake LBJ! We took our boat and spent the week. Property sits in a cove off the main body of the lake and was generally quiet with calm water for water sports or just floating off the dock. Great views from the kitchen, living room, and covered deck. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals during our stay. Bedrooms roomy with comfortable beds for the four of us. No issues during our stay.

Better than expected

The property was just perfect for a ladies’ paddle boarding trip. We enjoyed the patio, deck and fire pit. The house was comfortable and just right for a 4 person stay. Beautiful, updated home
decorated to perfection and communication with property manager was seamless and quick. We would highly recommend this property for an outing like ours.

Tranquil Getaway

This house is absolutely amazing! Beautiful views from the back porch looking onto the cove of Granite Shoals. My children loved every moment from fishing off the boat dock to kayaking and paddle boarding. Very serene and peaceful. We did have to wait an hour and a half to get into the property as there was a delay with housekeeping. Otherwise I would have rated this property 5 stars.

Confused

They charge me for a broken table and a stain on a couch. Nothing in this house was broken by my family or stained. Very confused about this!!! Nothing was broken, to begin with. So looks like they were trying to get extra money out of me. Complete BULL ****! There were sheets outside bundled up on a chair on the patio. The dock and all the outside furniture were covered in leaves and twigs. It looked like no one was taking care of the property. I had to clean all that up myself. Before the rest of my family came... It was embarrassing, to say the least.

Long Family Weekend

We finally got a chance to visit with our daughter in Texas and couldn’t of been happier with this property. The only 2 things are that there was no hair dryer and the amount of spider webs outside was a lot. It looked like the furniture outside had t been cleaned off in quite some time. But overall our stay was phenomenal and would definitely look into renting it again. The deer in the neighborhood were an extra added bonus!

Lake LBJ Fun!

House was darling, great for our group of six adults. The shaded waterfront area made hot afternoons more tolerable. Caught a number of fish from the dock including a few that were "wow" large. Centrally located for a number of interesting day tours. Granite Shoals is small but centrally located between Kingsland and Marble Falls for dining and other activities. Would recommend to others.

Best Family Vacation!

We've had great vacations but I would rate this as the best. My 3 kids (ages: 21, 18, & 17) loved playing in the water right off the pier. They went paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing everyday we were at the property. We leased a boat for a day to wake board and jet skis for 2 days from LBJ Resort & Marina. We were able to dock them right to the pier in back of the house. My kids came in when they needed a break and went back out when they where ready for more fun. The marina was 5 minutes away by boat or jet ski so it was quick and convenient when we needed to refuel the jet skis. This rental was cozy, comfortable, and had a great view of the lake. We had plenty of seating in the back to enjoy the outside and lake whenever we wanted as well as from inside the home. I will recommend this rental to family and friends and plan on returning. Thank you for the great memories!!

This house was one of the best ones we have ever stayed in - totally clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and lovely area on the patio to just relax. We loved the location and the area of Marble Falls. Would definitely go back!
