This air-conditioned, mod-inspired retreat features a private balcony where you can begin each morning with a newspaper and a cup of coffee, as well as fantastic shared facilities that include two swimming pools, a pair of hot tubs, two tennis courts, a dock, and the Dolphin Tiki Bar & Grill right on the grounds.

Angler's Cove is scenically situated on the shores of Factory Bay on the northern end of Marco Island. Rent an on-site boat slip through Angler's Cove, or head next door to the Rose Marina to book a charter on Fishing Captains' Row, take an eco-tour with the Dolphin Explorer, or reserve seats for a dinner cruise on the Marco Island Princess. Spend a day at Tigertail Beach (two miles west) and come home to fish from the floating dock, take a nap on one of the sundecks, and sip waterfront drinks at the Dolphin Tiki Bar & Grill.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

THE COVE

Unit was clean and comfortable. Did not have a dishwasher or garbage disposal but since it was only 2 of us it was not an issue, and we brought paper plates. It was right next to the pool which was great but did become loud sometimes. Close to many restaurants and the grocery. We brought our bikes and could get there in 10 minutes. Small lanai off the living room for 2 people max. Overall, would still stay here again.

Anglers Cove

Anglers Cove is well situated, close to beaches and restaurants. It has a nice Tiki Bar with excellent food. The unit was lovely except for the hard beds and pillows. It would have been nice to have a dishwasher too. We’d stay again.

Flood Damaged Condo with all lower-level furniture missing

We chose this condo because of the lower-level walkout with 2nd bathroom at ground level close to the pool and grassy area. Unfortunately, the lower level had suffered flood damage from Hurricane Ian in Sept. 2022 and all the furniture was missing even though the listing still showed all the furniture in place. There was not even a lawn chair to sit in. A construction noticed was taped to the door and many of the neighboring condos were also under construction. We contacted Vacasa the next morning after finding other lodging and asked to check out early due to the misrepresentation. They refused to even answer my request and just sent general messages about looking into it and will get back to us. We stayed 8 nights without our request to leave early ever being answered and we did not want to end up paying for two condos. The master bathroom wall had a large area crudely repaired but not painted. I never was able to get the wifi to work. I did not ask for help as Vacasa was already terrible about getting back to us. There were no smart TVs in the condo and no fan in the master bath. I will never rent anything managed by Vacasa again as they are terrible to work with and dishonest.

Anglers Cove

Please note that the name of the property is Anglers Cove and not Angler's Dream as shown on the Vacasa image. The unit was very clean, well maintained with all the necessary amenities. The condominium property was in nice quiet neighborhood. I would certainly recommend the property and the unit. We were disappointed with the 4.00 pm check in time and we had difficulties gaining entry using a lock box. I have informed Vacasa about those issues.

Angler’s Dream Condo

Comfortable condo in a great location. Furnishings in kitchen and living room were basic and a bit outdated. No dishwasher or washer/dryer in unit. Futon-type beds were comfortable. Bath appeared to have been recently renovated as one wall had not yet been repainted after being patched. Great tiki bar and restaurant on grounds and nice pool. I would stay here again.

The condo was clean, quiet, and comfortable with all of the amenities we anticipated with the exception of : insufficient instructions for laundry and garbage, poor activation of laundry card machine, and worn out form mattresses on the beds.

Marco Island is a nice location

It was an ok place ... nice location! It was just as pictured online. It wasn’t very clean ... I had to wash any dishes we wanted to use before we used them... but it was nice to have a functional kitchen. Another frustration was that the pool and hot tub closed at dusk ... but that seemed to be the case for many places in the area. We would stay again ... Marco Island is a nice community!
