Very nice and comfortable home in a quiet location. Restaurants, shops and the beach are a comfortable distance ⊠very easy drive or bike ride ⊠about 1.5 mile walk. Swimming pool and spa are fantastic. We very much enjoyed our stay. I would certainly recommend this property.
POOL AND HOT TUB NOT WORKING AT CHECKIN AND FOR 2 DAYS!! This SHOULD have been a 5 star review. Property is very nice. The inside has been recently remodeled and upgraded. The exterior of property including landscaping and fence around pool is in need of major work. The ONLY REASON I RENTED THIS PROPERTY WAS BECAUSE IT ADVERTISED A HEATED POOL AND HOT TUB. I guess I thought that meant warmer than 73! VRBO limits the reviews to 1500chars, so this is a summary. Owner was nice and eventually responded to texts. took 48 hrs to get heater working. I told her I wanted to discuss partial refund for 2 lost days of use. After we turned in keys I again reached out several times about a partial refund. 5 DAYS LATER I received a text from the rental agency and was offered a 75 per day refund (cost was 535/day stay). The owner, who had texted with me during the pool issue didn't have the courtesy to text me herself or discuss. Rental agency said take it or leave it, owner would not give more. I expected 200 per day or at least 150 to be fair. BOTTOM LINE - WHY WOULDN'T YOU TURN ON POOL HEATER BEFORE CHECK IN AND SEE THAT IT'S WORKING, AND THEN USABLE FOR RENTER? CHECKING IN TO A POOL AT 73 DEG, EVEN WITH A WORKING HEATER WOULD HAVE TAKEN AT LEAST A DAY TO BE USABLE. THE MAIN ATTRACTION OF THIS HOUSE IS THE OUTDOR AREA WITH HEATED POOL AND HOT TUB. HAD I KNOWN IT WAS NOT GOING TO BE TURNED ON BEFORE WE GOT THERE I WOULD HAVE RENTED SOMETHING ELSE..
