This independent holiday home in the immediate vicinity of Marliana (approx. 1 km) is surrounded by olive trees and has a private pool. Here you can completely regenerate and forget the stresses and strains of everyday life! The house has the typical warmth of Tuscan houses with exposed wooden beams and is situated on a beautiful, terraced natural plot with quiet areas where you can sunbathe, read a good book or enjoy a good glass of wine. The beautiful pool with waterfall is for your exclusive use and will make your children happy! In this area rich in wooded hills, nature lovers and hikers are spoilt for choice, as there are even paths that meander very close to the house. The small village of Marliana lies 469 metres above sea level and is surrounded by fir and chestnut forests. It is famous for its collection of chestnuts and mushrooms, which are used as ingredients for local specialities. Visit the many restaurants and trattorias in the region as well as the numerous food and wine festivals that take place throughout the year and savour these delicious dishes. Among the specialities we recommend: Croutons or pasta dishes with porcini mushrooms and "necci", a type of crêpe made from chestnut flour and usually filled with ricotta cream. For wellness lovers, we would like to point out that the famous spa town of Montecatini Terme is only 13 km away and the art cities of Tuscany, such as Florence, Lucca and Pisa, can all be reached in about 1 hour by car.
