Tea Creek Mountain Cabin
Cozy, private, clean, newer cabin on 2 acres near the Monongahela National Forest sign in Natureâs Mountain Playground - Pocahontas County, WV. Close to Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort and the Greenbrier River Trail. Big back yard with fire pit.
Exactly what we wanted - remote and with a good view of the night sky for stargazing. Directions were accurate and it was easy to get the keys and get in. Might want to come back sometime!
There was a strange noise that kept me awake for most of the night. Not sure if it was the heating system or what, but it put a damper on the tranquility of being out in the woods for from highways, etc.
We had a great three night stay at Tea Creek Mountain Cabin. The cabin was just what we were looking for. Comfortable, secluded, and close to Williams River trout fishing. The cabin is not fancy. Itâs actually fairly rustic, but it has everything you need, and the hosts were great to work with. We will definitely try and go back again.
Loved our stay! Very helpful hosts! The cabin is very clean. It is private but not far from town. We will definitely be returning and referring this property!
We spent the weekend enjoying the various trails and attractions off the Highlands Scenic Highway. The cabin was a convenient and comfortable stopover for Saturday night. It had everything we needed, and we particularly enjoyed the fire pit. We would certainly stay there again when we're next in the area. Thanks!
The cabin was just what I was looking for - quiet location, clean, not close to other people. An added bonus was the multiple deer that visited the property and getting to spot several deer, rabbits and one large bird (too far away to id its species) flying overhead while walking on the road that the cabin is on. Had come to the area to ride the Greenbrier River Trail. Also did went on the Greenbrier Resort's Bunker Tour. Jacob and Hannah recommended seeing the Falls of Hill Creek in the Monongahela National Forest which I checked out on my way back home. Planning on returning again to ride the Greenbrier River Trail again (hopefully with better weather) and hike some trails in Monongahela.
