The Palace
Riad Dar Zaouia is located in Marrakech, the capital of Moroccan tourism, in the ancient Medina, easily accessible from the airport thanks to the transfer included in the price that will take you to the door of this ancient Palace. Equipped with 5 precious bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 3 large traditional rooms and a beautiful terrace with separate solarium.
The Riad serves a traditional Moroccan breakfast complete with every delicacy. It also has a Massage Room and a large heated pool.
The Space
A story that begins 400 years ago...getting lost within the walls of the Dar Zaouia Riad will be an experience of pure relaxation, and as the name itself says, or Zaouia, in Arabic has the meaning of a place of retreat, will be a meeting place for inner peace. The large courtyard patio closed and inaccessible from outside views as it overlooks the neighboring buildings, with its traditional fruit trees and fountains will offer you a first taste of what this wonderful Riad of over 450 square meters finely restored completely respecting the nature and Moroccan architecture can offer. On the ground floor the Tea Room, in precious emerald green kaftan accompanied by Arabesque brass tables, the typical Salone del Camino, where you can dine and sip mint infused in tea, the large Summer Lounge can accommodate you and the friends you desire invite, the spa area where you can relax under the expert hands of masseurs and finally a beautiful heated pool embellished with a waterfall of water real queen of the patio. On the ground floor there is also a small kitchen service for some pleasant break by our staff that will pamper you during your stay.
A staircase full of niches and soft lights, with the handrail carved into the ancient stones of the wall will accompany you to the sleeping area, where 3 beautiful relaxation areas will allow you to lie down and through the ancient arches gaze at the stars of the night Maghreb. Then the 5 wonderful rooms, where the kaftan and the precious lights worked by hand will make you enter into an atmosphere of "Nights of the East", all tastefully decorated with typical craftsmanship. Each room can accommodate you and your belongings without space restrictions. Each room has its own private bango, equipped with every comfort, from the hair dryer to the make-up remover set, to the gels for the shower, for the shampoo and the body cream, all strictly to the aroma of orange flowers, the scent that in spring naturally pervades the Riad. Continuing the journey to discover Dar Zaouia we find a wonderful and very large terrace, the Berber Lounge where you can lie down sipping a tea, the discreet and reserved solarium on the secondary terrace, the two pergolas dedicated to refreshment and breakfasts from Spring until Autumn. All this with a wonderful view of the Atlas mountains and the roofs of Marrakech.

Other things to keep in mind
We would like to inform our Guests that we are one of the very few facilities that is able to get you by car from the airport (which is included in the price) directly in front of the entrance of the Riad, Since the Dar Zaouia Riad is located in the ancient medina, it overlooks two streets, one of which is accessible by car, so you won’t have to walk for long journeys tired from the journey and with suitcases in tow. The possibility of getting to the Riad by car obviously does not have to worry because the access is limited and only granted to those who provide service in the area. Each room also comes with a portable phone with unlimited data that will act as a hotspot during your visits outside the Riad. So that you don’t have to worry about staying connected inside the Riad thanks to a powerful and modern Wi-Fi and when you are walking around the souks of Marrakech. The service is included in the price of the stay.
The Neighborhood
The ancient palace of Dar Zaouia Riad is located in the medieval district of Zaouia, where between alleys and houses that warm up to the Sun marked by the time of Prayers still resists the true and ancient Marrakech, made of small shops, of timid and reserved greetings of Peace to the meeting with the local inhabitants, of children who run and play in the streets pervaded by the scent of freshly baked bread.
