Nice clean on golf course easy access to downtown .
Lock box by garage that said was our entry point wasnât functional. Luckily another by front door. Could have had some basic spices and foil plastic wrap ziploc bags. The kitchen was well equipped other wise. Nice sleeping arrangements. 3 bathrooms was also nice. TV could have been easier to work luckily daughter works in media industry. Overhaul a few kinks but we enjoyed our weekend.
No hottub as advertised. No WiFi. Otherwise good place.
We were very disappointed to find out the hottub had been closed for over a year because it wasn't under repair. After a day of skiing our group looks to enjoy a hottub on our trips and this was something we looked for in this VRBO place Vacasa clearly marketed the community center had a hottub but when we went down there the rec center person said it hadn't been working for over a year. No WiFi was also an issue for us as many of us brought our laptops for work and had to try and hotspot from our phones. The place was clean and comfortable.
Garage entry keypad did not work. Called VACASA they helped us gain entry via front door keypad.
Truck parked in garage gave us a start, we thought someone else had the rental. We did not have parking for two as stated.Batteries in fire alarm dead we replaced so the beeping ceased. Towel bar pulled out of the wall had not been fixed from previous guests. Kitchen cupboards packed with too many pots and pans, with no organization so no room for food to put away.
Front steps were in repair and not useable. Could be dangerous to children. Car in garage was unsecured (afraid to leave my bicycle in it) because only access was by opening overhead garage door by hand that was difficult for a 78 year old man and impossible for his 76 year old wife. Garage door needs to be repaired. Improper directions given for accessing the home. Main floor shower head squirted out over the door and soaked the floor. Old bent wire hangers for hanging closes instead of plastic hangers. Towels were still damp because house preparer took them out of dryer too soon. No WiFi. Toilet paper holder in main floor bathroom needed to be tightened.
Space and location were truly great. Lack of wifi was a problem because cell service (for multiple service providers) in the area is unreliable at best and often un-usable. DVD player in main room did not work (though the upstairs device was functional). Overall, it was a very nice time but some modern conveniences should not be anticipated when staying at this condo.
Picked up the keys after hours from the lock box at the property management office. The condo was really nice with plenty of space for everyone. Its nice having the kitchen, living room, and dining room all together. Even when we were all in that space it didn't feel like we were crammed in. Would definitely stay here again!
Great unit, decorated in western motif, easily accommodated 8 off our family.(5 adults and. 3 children). Clean and well furnished. Parking for 3 vehicles. Good location near golf course and Ponderosa State Park. But the Unit was advertised as having wifi. It does not. To get wifi you have to walk 100 yards to the club house to check email, etc. The club house does not have a lounge, only a hard wooden bench, and has limited hours. Not good enough in this connected world we live in.
The property was perfect for our two families...plenty of space and nice kitchen/great room where everyone could relax together. It snowed during our stay and we were impressed that someone was out shoveling and putting ice down on our walk both mornings! We were kinda bummed that a large trailer was parked in the two car garage, and so one car was able to park inside. Overall, it was a great property and it would be fun to stay again during the summer months in order to enjoy the golf course views!
This condo was absolutely perfect for our family and crew that we brought with us. Plenty of room and beds AND plenty of bathrooms. It was extremely clean and looks to have been recently updated. We also loved the access to the rec center and all the amenities!
There were a few things we all agreed that we'd like to share as friendly suggestions. One, there was not enough towels. The moms were extremely grateful that we packed extra's just in case. If an occupancy of 10 is allowed, there should be extra supplies like this. We were also slightly frustrated that, per the list of things to do upon checking out, that the dishes needed to be not only cleaned but put away. AND there was no dishwasher detergent, which meant we did two days of dishes for 10 people by hand. Given that there is such a hefty cleaning fee, this seemed a little unfair, especially considering how clean we left the condo. In other rentals we've used, they usually ask that any dishes be loaded and clean in the dishwasher, but not also put away. Plus, supplies to do so are always available. Also, the woman at the front desk of the rec center was extremely rude to us and made us leave the pool 20 minutes before the posted close time because she "needed to get home."
These are all minor issues, however, and we would definitely stay here again!
