Nearby Towns and What to Explore:
- McCall, Idaho (downtown 1 mile away): The quintessential mountain town, set right on Payette Lake. Itâs known for its beautiful views, easygoing pace, and the kind of community that makes you feel at home right away. McCall is the heart of Long Valley for dining, shopping, and activities, with local boutiques, great restaurants, and year-round events and festivals. It is where you will find the most grocery stores, cute coffee shops, and local favorites.
- Donnelly, Idaho (approximately 13 miles south): A quieter lakeside town near Lake Cascade with a laid-back feel. Itâs also home to Tamarack Resort, where you can enjoy skiing, mountain biking, live music, and events throughout the year for more of a resort-style experience.
- Cascade, Idaho (approximately 26 miles south): A relaxed lake town centered around Lake Cascade, known for its easy pace and outdoor access. Itâs a great spot for boating, fishing, and beach days in the summer, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the water.
- New Meadows, Idaho (approximately 15 miles north): A peaceful, scenic area that feels a bit removed from the busier lake towns. Surrounded by open landscapes and mountain views, itâs a great place to unwind, take a quiet drive, or simply enjoy a slower, more relaxed day.
Very pleasant stay at condo located near to town but in beautiful location overlooking the golf course. Watched deer grazing everyday of our stay. Would recommend this condo.
Nice Townhouse with great hot tub for a post ski soak. Only issue was toilet in upstairs hall bathroom needs rebuild kit and required some fiddling under lid after every flush to shutoff water.
The hot tub has a terrible stench. There were no instructions. A doctor and nurse were guests among the 4 adults and we determined that the hot tub cover has a mold problem. We were unable to get rid of the bad spell after rinsing our bathing suits. It is an unhealthy situation. We think it is unfair that the property claims to have a hot tub but it is not being adequately and safely maintained. We selected the property b/c It claimed to have a hot tub. One of the guests was over 75 years old and another guest wanted to use it for a knee injury. We have received zero response to our concern from property management in over 4 days. I also sent 2 other messages before the start of the trip and received 0 response. Who is responsible with communicating with paying guests?????? This seems unfair. Please read this more than once.
Property was very nice. Good location, clean and set up very well for guests. We had a couple of things we wanted to mention. The heating system doesn't work so the house was heated with space heaters. In my opinion that is dangerous and a little inconvenient. The wind chimes on the neighbors house kept one of the guests up at night. I believe it's house #10. To the right as you are looking at the house. Thank you!!
This place was perfect for our little group of people. We didn't use the hot tub cause it looked a little murky and we were able to enjoy the local hot springs. Better instructions for bedding and garbage (could not find outdoor receptacles) would have been helpful. Overall it was very comfy.
The house was very clean and comfortable! We enjoyed the area, it was beautiful and quiet. My only negatives is there is no where to hang clothes in the master and a little direction on where the trash receptibles was located would have been great.
This property is in the perfect location. Close to everything McCall has to offer! Sits right on the course & located close to the clubhouse. This is about all the property has to offer unfortunately. No air conditioning so be sure to check the weather! All bedrooms are located on the second floor and there is only 1 TV located in the main living room downstairs. No cable and slow internet as well. If youâre not going to be in the house much, this place will work great. If you are, please look elsewhere as this place is dated and lacks basic modern day upgrades. The hot tub was a nice option but it was dirty upon arrival. Kind of left a sour taste and felt like I paid too much after all of the different fees involved even though I felt I left the house cleaner than it was upon arrivalâŠ
We did enjoy our stay at this house, very comfortable. Great location and very much enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the deck.
There could have been a better job of house cleaning, found a VERY dirty grill that we had to clean before we could use it; chips under the chair, laundry still in the dryer. When we have to pay such a high amount for a cleaning fee, you would expect ALL to be clean and put away.
This property is in a great location. The neighbor Mel is fantastic too! Itâs super clean and cozy! Bring your own pillowâŠthe pillows arenât great.
