A Summer Getaway Near Shenandoah Park & Resort Fun!

THE SPACE

Welcome to this cozy cabin retreat in the woods of the Massanutten Resort Community. The cabin is conveniently located nearby all the Massanutten four season resort activities, including a waterpark, skiing, hiking, golf and much more. When you're not enjoying all the resort has to offer, Shenandoah National Park and Harrisonburg, with tons of shopping and dining options are just a few minutes away.

This cozy yet spacious and meticulously maintained cabin can comfortably entertain family and friends. The serene setting on a quiet street features a picturesque front porch with a swing, outdoor firepit, a three queen beds, and two twin beds, plus sleeper sofas in the lower level and loft, there is plenty of space for everyone to unwind and spend time together.

MAIN LEVEL

Living Room:Take time to relax on our comfy couch and use your personal account to stream a show or movie on the Roku smart HDTV.

Kitchen: This kitchen is prepared for you to cook a wonderful meal for the family, just bring the groceries. Featuring a full cookware set, dishware, spices, Keurig Duo for your choice of drip coffee or K-cup, 4 slice toaster, blender, waffle iron and more.

Dining Room: The dining room features an eight seat table to enjoy meals with family or get outdoors and kick back on the patio and while you're at it throw some burgers and hot dogs on the propane gas grill.

Laundry: A full sized washer and dryer including detergent pods are available for your use.

Billiards: Rack 'em and crack 'em. Welcome to the Corner Pocket. Enjoy a few games of pool in the billiards room while taking in a beverage and streaming the game on the Roku smart HDTV.

Bedroom 1: Queen size bed, electric fireplace and full ensuite bathroom with a walk-in closet.

As our guests you have access to our entire home except one locked space for our storage and supplies. There is an additional storage area beneath the staircase in the basement accessible to guests with additional pillows and self inflating air mattress. The driveway can accommodate 6 vehicles.

The house is 5 minutes from the waterpark and 10 minutes from the ski area. There are two easily accessible golf courses and catch and release fishing at Painter Pond just 5 minutes away.

Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 20 minutes away for you to enjoy great shopping and restaurants.
The Shenandoah Valley has many highlights including its famous caverns, wineries and breweries.

This residence is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort, however, it is located in the Massanutten community so you are minutes from skiing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor waterpark, swimming, putt putt golf, go karts, ziplining, tennis, fishing and more.

Most activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked through Massanutten Resort's website.

There is a Ring video doorbell at the front door. There are no other cameras on the property.

We may be able to accommodate early check in and/or early check out depending on our schedule. If we are able to allow these options fees will apply as follows:

1 hour early: $25
2 hours early: $50
+2 hours early: $50 + $25 per additional hour will apply.

My granddaughter enjoyed the house as much as she enjoyed the Massanutten activities. We arrived late and the code was already sent to me so there was no issue gaining entry to the property, We cooked in the house every night and didn't need a thing. It was a great experience.

First Family Weekend to Massanutten

This was our families first time @ Massanutten and finding this house was the first right choice for the weekend. The house was just as it was advertised and in the words of our 4 year old grandson, "Papaw, I Love This House ! ! !". The game rooms were a highlight for all three grandchildren and for the rest of the family as well. We will definitely stay here again ! ! ! Five Stars for our family ! ! !

Lovely stay

This is a well kept home and perfect for a rental. Everything was as described on the web, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and basic spices. Everything was functional and worked great - toaster, coffee machine, oven, stove, grill, washer/dryer, etc. Marcus was extremely responsive. The house is 3 stories - basement with last play area, first floor with primary bedroom, large bath, kitchen, dining, living, and play area (pool table in garage space), 2nd floor with 3 bedrooms and full bathroom and a den/office space.The area is convenient, quiet neighborhood and easy to get to all areas of massanutten. It snowed on our last night but the roads were plowed and we had no trouble getting out.Would love to stay again if we were to return to Massanutten!

Family vacation getaway

My family and I decided to take a fall vacation and were lucky enough to find the perfect house. Location was great! House had everything a family or even a group of friends would need. Plenty of space for letting kids have room to play. We can even imagine us going back for a winter trip with friends. Will definitely stay here again when traveling to the area. Communication with host was phenomenal. Answered all questions very quickly!

Convenient and Cozy

Had a great time at this house! Everything was as listed, the space was well decorated, comfortable and spacious! I especially loved the pool room, comfortable beds, location, and patio. Marcus was super attentive, friendly and helpful. Only one star taken off (I would take a half star if I could) for lacking some kitchen basics although Marcus did offer to replace, just was a bit annoying running out to the store a few times. This house is conveniently near grocery stores, and ice cream place and Massanutten. We went tubing on the river and engaged in combat archery, as well as hung around the house. Certainly would love to come back!

Beautiful stay in the Mountains

First, our host, Marcus, was just fantastic! He responded quickly and pleasantly to every question we had. The house was comfy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The downstairs entertainment area was where we spent most of our evenings and had so much fun. I loved this house and would definitely stay again!

Cabin Retreat

The cabin is ideally located and easy to get to in the Massanutten Resort. Plenty of room for parking in the driveway; easy level unloading with no steps to the main level. The cabin has a nice layout with plenty of space for a family of seven. Nice covered front porch with seating and a swing. Nice deck off the dinning room with a table, chairs, umbrella and gas grill with a spare gas tank. Nice patio on the lower level, covered by the deck above, again with plenty of seating and a fire pit in the back yard. Located close to the water park and other recreational activities.

Family reunion.

This is a beautiful home and location. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything very clean. The host is very kind and answered all the questions we had and responded very quick. The home was very close to Massanutten Resort. There was alot of activities for the kids to do. They loved going there. We all wanted to stay longer. Maybe we can go sometime in the future.
