This home is tucked away on a quiet cul de sac, providing a unique sense of privacy while still keeping you close to a variety of exciting outdoor activities. Race down the ski slopes at Wisp Mountain (two miles away), go swimming or boating at Deep Creek Lake (nine miles), or enjoy a scenic hike through Swallow Falls State Park (14 miles). The rental itself is located on a wooded two-acre property, which offers plenty of opportunities for exploring without ever going far from home.

When it's time for a break, head back to the house to catch your breath. Take a dip in the outdoor hot tub or birdwatch from the wraparound deck. Free WiFi is provided so you can keep up with all your favorite websites, and there's even a pool table and a basketball court for some friendly family competition.

(A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wooded Retreat

This property was the perfect getaway location for my family. It is situated less than 2 miles from the ski resort. There was so much space for my family to spread out, but it also had spaces for us to gather as well. We enjoyed sitting at the large kitchen table playing cards in the evening. The hot tub was a treat after a long day of skiing. The wrap-around porches were a perfect place to sit out and enjoy the family of deer passing through. We were disappointed to see that the pool table had been replaced by a shuffleboard table. However, there were other activities for us to enjoy. I would happily return to this location!

Perfect Getaway

This house was truly a perfect getaway from the city. It was our first time to Deep Creek, but it won’t be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed just hanging at the house. It had everything that we look for when we travel:: A big and fully stocked kitchen to cook every meal in, a hot tub to relax in, a fire pit to sit by, and a large wrap around deck, to just sit outside. Plus, the place was perfect for us; though it’s nice and big enough to invite friends and family. The neighborhood is quiet during the week, but during the weekend, the neighbors were mighty energetic (loud). We loved eating every meal on the picnic table outside on the deck, drinking our coffees on the Adirondack chairs, and finishing the nights by the fire pit and in the hot tub. So nice and relaxing. We’re contemplating when we want to come back, and for staying longer. This place is such a gem! Maybe next time we’ll actually explore the town! My only bit of feedback is communication with Vacasa, as they were very slow to respond to messages within the VRBO app. So if you have a question, don’t wait until the day before your trip. Ask any questions at least a week before you check in. :)

Great house, would stay again

Spacious, comfortable house where everything works as advertised. The location was perfect--just a few minutes from Wisp, and easy access to the local restaurants and grocery store. We've stayed in the Deep Creek area a few times and this was our best rental so far. The house is large, well-equipped, and comfortable. The hot tub worked well, and the kids had ample space to run around and play. Would stay again next time.

Perfect Week

We loved the cabin. It had all the amenities we needed and all the space for our kids of all ages and interests. It really allowed us to come and go to the lake excursions being close enough, but far enough to be secluded and quiet! Each morning and evening was really relaxing. The hot tub was a nice perk. The game room offered space for the kids to unwind. We may look at staying at the cabin again for skiing Wisp this winter!

Crazy/happy ending trip!

We booked the ohana house and we’re happy with the beautiful house in the woods ... first night went great then 5 am to be woke up by my nephew saying his wife’s water broke ... so short story we ended up in Garrett Regional Hospital all day and she had an emergency c-section and had the baby at 10:06 ... we kayaked the next day and spent time at the beautiful lake ... but we get to take home the best souvenir our new Niece ! Highly recommend this place ! The managers were very accommodating with check in time ! House was very roomy ..

A true retreat!

Our time at Ohana in Deep Creek Lake was simply beautiful. The house has everything we needed and more. It seemed more like a house that was lived in than a rental. The layout of the rooms, the games, activities, hot tub and well stocked kitchen were perfect! Due to rain, we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but had every intention. We will definitely visit again!

Thank you for an awesome stay - my friends and I had a great time and hope to return in the future. The place was bigger than expected, and very clean newly stocked with toiletries and towels for our stay. I loved that you could see the slopes from our place driving out, and it was easy to go back and forth to the slopes. Also, the kitchen was fully functional; we enjoyed baking and cooking all weekend. The only downside, if I may, was that we were really looking forward to the hot tub, but there was no key available for us to unlock the tub. We read instructions that the key would be located inside a lockbox, but couldn't locate the lockbox - there was one that looked like it could be one, but it was broken and nothing was inside. Aside from this, everything was great. The temperature though was a lot warmer upstairs than downstairs. All in all, great stay - would recommend!

The home is beautiful and has everything you need stocked and ready.. we overpacked for sure! My only heads up to other travelers with small children is to look at the lay out of the home. We had to have 1 adult upstairs and 1 adult downstairs. For us it was too scary to leave our little ones downstairs alone. There were absolutely no negatives I could think of just great!!!

Awesome house!

Pictures do not do this property justice!!!! It is enormous!! 2 kids ages 7 and 11 and 4 adults stayed and had more than enough room. Main level has giant kitchen, mud room with washer and dryer plus half bath, master bedroom suite, with full bath including jetted tub and wrap around deck with more than half covered!!! Lower level had giantic family room with 2 full size couches, pool table, gaming table for cards or games full bath and 2 bedrooms. With a walk out to the woods. Our first night there a deer wandered right behind us as we took a picture. Skylights thru the main level, 2 car garage, easy chairs on the deck, gas grill and more. The house just felt like home.
